And from the prodictions I have seen, the BEARS win the next 3 games. Of course, They can be wrong if 4 other teams get their way.
We didn't really get out athleted in the Surry game, we got out refereed lol Raleigh admitted it
There is no question that the 2019 East Surry team was the superior squad. That was a once in a lifetime team for a 1a program. All that being said, it still took a blind ref with the IQ of mayonnaise for them to beat Mitchell...

That sounds good too. My son and his family go to their inlaws and until last year I went to Golden Corral. But last year and this year I will fix a normal meal at home. Same planned for tomorrow. That's what happens when your sister and her kids and their kids live 6 hours away. But every day is a weekend for me these days.

As I've said before I can't prove it no more then anyone else can but just my opinion is that Mitchell lost that game not there but in the Polk game two week earlier when the QB Pittman got a high ankle sprain and no time for it to heal infact probably got worse he was at best probably 60% in that game he told the other boy on the first drive that he wasn't sure he could make it the whole game, just love to have seen him in that game 100% then if they'd had still lost I could except it more but as it was didn't matter if the ref had made the proper call or not ( and but the way they ES if the TD had been called and Mitchell had scored the two point conversion ES was out of time) but by then he had cracked ribs played that way the 4th quarter so wouldn't have been in shape for another game probably.

Simple the math was in their favor. Both were 10-0 which is 30% of the RPI both opponents opp winning percentage which counts for 30% was about equal both 0.53396 vs 0.53265 but ER's opponents winning percentage which is 40% of the RPI was higher 0.58311 vs 0.47778 which gave them a RPI of 0.69343 vs 0.65091.
This is the game Adkins as a coach has to win. If he does I will be a believer in him. This is his staple game at MA!!!
This game like most will come down to 3 things: blocking,tackling and turnovers the team that does those best will win. Mitchell's line has really picked it up the last several weeks, Mt. Airy must have a good one as well. Go Mitchell

Subjective, but I'd say no. 2019 had better offense, 2021 has better defense. I would say 2019 Mitchell is better by a td...

No. But as mountie said defense is better. It’ll be interesting to see how the lines match up in this game. If our oline does what they have been we have a decent chance of winning
ER had to play a real team in the playoffs, unlike Mt. Airy who has replayed teams from their crappy conference.

And Starmount beat Andrews 27-20 and Andrews beat Mitchell 26-14 and Mount Airy beat Starmount 43-0 & playoffs in the 44-7
All games are a new season after playoffs start. 🏈

I doubt it a lot of states went to RPI one reason no one new what MaxPreps computer algorithm was completely based on the only difference I probably see is like other states adding getting extra credit for playing higher classification teams but it's impossible to have a perfect system. Besides that I don't see anything else you can add and it's not like someone didn't whine every year about MaxPreps.
Personally I had a lot more issues with the formula they used for the realignment and assign classifications.
