Mitchell @ Mount Airy 11/26/21 4th Round

Folks, I get it that you took exception to some of the posts you mentioned from one particular guy. Heck, I don’t like a lot of them. Another poster piped off a little, but he’s a dad, so overlook him.
But I hope you recognize that no two posters from your school represents everybody. There are some pretty gracious Thomasville fans on here. We’re not all alike any more than the rest of you.

Isn’t it funny how some posters with no skin in the game are hell bent on putting down teams and posters that have teams that actually made the playoffs? Seems like I could find something better to do with my time but that’s just me.

We have only Played I think 3 times. I think both fan bases look for a competitive game. Mitchell is 1A in a split conference with 2 2A teams. I think Mt. Airy is excited to play someone with a pulse 😁

Nothing till late today then seen 6. 3 bucks, 3 does. One of the bucks came home with me. Now the fun part on a cold windy night. BUT gonna have those backstraps.

Naw don’t think anyone from either school actually knows one another. Just a couple groups of good ol boys (and gals) that have found some common ground. Both sides are extremely proud of their schools but can respect the fact that the kids from both are going to give it their all. At this point every school, east or west has a good ball team and should enjoy the ride.

There are 3, 2A schools and 2, 1A football schools in Surry County that have all been in the same conference at times over the years. All within 10 miles of each other except Elkin They are in 2 different conferences now. 1A East Surry was Mount Airy's biggest rivalry for years but they went 2A this year and headed to the 4th round Friday of the 4A playoffs. The SMC NWC & Mitchell have met many times over the years in the rounds leading up to the western Champions that meet the east for the State championship. We have all been chatting for years. ;) Almost like we know one another. LOL, I think the last 4 years it has been the SMC vs NWC for the west or played on the way, but Mitchell may have a say this year, and not sure the name of their 1A/2A conference. When I pulled it up this year to see the standings it said 1A/2A West Conference 42. Someone from Mitchell & the SMC can add more from their side.

I'll let the other guys. I've never hunted A never wanted too B when I was working I never would have had the time if I had wanted to I worked every 6 days week sometimes 7 for over 30 years the last half on about six county boards and as a widowed father of two....and prepare yourself never really liked venison, well at least not Deer I do like Elk.
