Look over Midway schedule. Look at the teams they have beaten and fact that James Kenan put 80 points on Midway. We saw what Whiteville did to James Kenan and what Clinton did to Whiteville. Also last season Dark Horses defeated Midway 40-14 with half the Dark Horse starting offensive line at home with the flu. This years team is at full health. I am interested to see how it goes too but I don't see Midway being any issue for Clinton.

I know this will change with games left in the season but if it started Friday FH would have to play back to back games against Anson since they're our final game and from our own conference. I've seen that happen to other teams in the past just wish they could try to avoid those situations "if possible" but it's how the cookie crumbles I guess, but I always have a personal rivalry with my dad when we play Anson since he's an Anson grad '63. 😆 🤣

And to think Northeastern is primarily a passing team. That kid at Northeastern would be shattering all kinds of records if he played on a team that focused on the run. He is a good kid that is very well mannered which you don’t see to often with todays youth. Northeastern future is bright with a lot of talent coming up from a jv team that is undefeated.

Goober that's why his stats are what they are. Everyone is focused on stopping the pass, which opens up the run. Forgot you never played ball so don't understand these things. Kid from SWO/WRH kerr would have 2000 + yards playing NE schedule. We both know this lol. NE kid looks average on film TBH

Not true at all but everyone outside our conference will get to see if what I’ve posted is true once the playoffs start. We will almost certainly get matched up against a Duplin County team or SWO.

I am interested to see how it goes too but I think Wiz is correct on this one. Midway OL is going to have a lot of trouble keeping the Clinton defense out of the backfield and the QB isn't going to have a lot of time. I have watched film on Midway and just don't see them being able to handle this defense and they haven't faced a defense anywhere close to this caliber. Hopefully I didn't jinx Clinton though and Friday is Friday the 13th. I don't believe in superstition but never know. lol It will be interesting to see how it goes.

Northwood moved to 2a from 3a and joined the Mid-Carolina conference with Cummings and them.

Also noticed a new 2a school in that conference…Southeast Alamance.

I’m getting old! Grizz…barely able to keep up. 😜

Cummings might have their hands full with both of those schools joining the conference. We’ll see.

West Bladen will probably finish the season with 3 wins MAYBE, I highly doubt they'll still be seeded higher than a St Pauls team that might end up winning 6 games and 2nd in the conference.

Lol, Looks like they had a tough schedule but wont win 3 games, will this still help their case for getting into the playoffs? Hard to imagine a 2/3 win team getting in over a 5/6 win team.

...but a 6 win team who's played a garbage easy schedule shouldn't get in over a 3 win team who's played a really tough schedule.

Hate it or love it...RPI evens the playing field and prevents situations like that. It takes into account how successful your opponents are and how successful their opponents are as well.

Even if a team has a higher rpi, they can't be placed in the playoff field ahead of another team in their conference who has a better conference record.

What hurts Maiden the most is, we have 3 teams we've played that are winless: Foard, Saint, West Caldwell...and we're forced to play all three. It's killing our RPI.

West Caldwell I understand because they are a conference opponent...but our hands are tied and we're forced to play FTF and StSt...and because our conference is larger we only get 3 non conference opponents...so we schedule a solid team there...but it'd be nice to be able to choose 3 non conference opponents instead of just one.

No limit
