Does anyone know if the QB for UNC is leaving after this season or is he staying for another year.

He through out his top 5 either yesterday or today. Kinda thought it was coming next week. Now they REALLY need to go get a OL coach
He was a lock to be a 1st round QB before the year started but his stock has taken a hit this year. Not sure he wants to come back behind this OL and I don't blame him.
Yea he def didn't commit to UNC because of the current OL coach, so I doubt he'll be bummed if they let him go.
I think it comes down to his next 5 games and the advice he gets. I am in the minority but I think he is Baker without Lincoln. Love his moxy and he can make all the throws.
You could be right. The system is QB friendly and he's had NFL talent around him in Dazz, Dyami, Carter, Williams and Downs. What he's done with his legs this year has really impressed me and like you said, that moxy is off the charts.
I think Howell should go pro. I'm ready to see what Maye can do. Something is missing with this team and Howell's leadership has been questioned by many.
Howell is the farthest thing from being the problem. He’s taken a pure beating this season and would be crazy not to turn pro. UNC will greatly miss him when he’s gone.
Agree. But I think Maye will fit right in with this offense if they're able to be better up front and have another WR along with #11

What if Wake goes undefeated to and Bama beats Georgia in the SEC championship game.
That would be a nice bonus if Wake finished undefeated. I'd like Georgia to lose to someone else besides Alabama, but chances are as slim as Wake finishing without a loss. Small chance but it would be nice.
Dre Bly can't coach a lick but he's phenomenal at slinging that $$$ around Virginia. Can't afford to lose him.
I'm not so sure. He doesn't have Howells wheels and it gets tougher and tougher to win at that level without a QB run threat.
True but I absolutely love the combination of Pettaway and Hampton coming in at RB, absolutely reminds me of Carter/Williams. I think Nesbit has a bright future at TE and they have Downs for at least another year. Need to find WR #2. I think Maye has a little mobility but I love his arm.

I don't know what the going rate is you will have to ask Dre Bly, but if they go to Ohio State, Clemson or Notre Dame chances are they are going to win and get good coaching. If they go to UNC they will have posters who know more about how to coach than the coaches.

I'll tell ya for all the early hype of Howell and DJ and the recent hype of Pickett I think Hartman might be playing the best of any ACC QB. His numbers are very good.
Tennessee is giving Alabama a struggle right now. Hoping for a 2 loss Alabama to add to the chaos.

Me too. Not going to happen. Not enough depth. Think Vols only have low 70s scholarship players. Hey on the bright side my son team won 52-16 and he got his 3rd start of the year. 2 in a row.

The ACC is terrible this year, but you'd be hard pressed to find a conference with as much talent at QB: Sam Howell, Brennan Armstrong, Sam Hartman, Kenny Pickett, Malik Cunningham. And that's with D.J. Uiagalelei struggling.
Devin Leary is not bad. The freshman at Miami might be better than anyone they've had in a while.

Yeah, he played well but that is a highly overrated pass defense for NC state. They have a couple more long afternoons ahead of them.
Notre Dame opens a 4 point favorite. I was thinking 6 so it seems a bit short to me. Will be interesting to see where it goes when Hamiltons injury status is clearer.
That's easy money right there as UNC hasn't shown they can play on the road. The BYE week was good for them as they were a little banged up.
IMO! The only thing different is the teams on top. More of a changing of the guard. No difference in play collectively than the previous years.
Its just funny because go back to Aug 1 and the hype was Howell-DJ-King probably in that order. Maybe a little Jurkovec sprinkled in. 90 days later its Pickett-Hartman- Armstrong. There is just so much preseason hype that goes on in college football.......maybe more than any other sport.
I mean Howell has good numbers still. The Clemson thing is just a disaster on offense. Bad throws, drop passes, missed blocking assignments......Tons of 4 and 5 stars.
