You guys have fun, it's going to be an awesome game. I'm in Kitty Hawk now with my wife, this will be the first time I've missed a big game in as far back as I can remember. My wife told me if I went tonight I couldn't go to see Northeastern play Hendersonville in the State Championship game. So I had no choice 😁. Even factoring in the weather with the high winds I have Northeastern surging to a 21 plus victory tonight.
Wish I could join you guys, honestly! But I'm gettin pretty excited to watch iy strain. Also, I'm not going to sneak peak the Hendersonville/Mountain Heritage game and watch I later tonight when its archived, d=so if I dont immediately post about this game, I watching that one.I thin both games will be excellent. I know I'm biased but I think 2A &2AA are the best football classifications, and more competitive. Why? it is the classification which is mostly rated to small town/medium sized many with the small town name.
If you really believe that hats off, to you (and Mr. Davis), for the confidence in your team. Northeastern is going up against one of the best small town programs in the history of North Carolina football. On top of that, the Eagles have lost to this same team for the past two seasons and you make it sound almost easy. But hey, this feller once said "everything is hard before it's easy" (TheMule knows who said it). I'm sorry you can't go to the game. Two fine teams from two good locations, good luck to both.
Yes what I posted are my honest thoughts after attending all Northeastern games this year. I also watched Reidsville vs Cummings on NFHS Network and drove 3 hrs to watch the Reidsville Rams play WRH. I knew we were going to face them and I wanted to see if they were as good as advertised. After watching them in person I knew at that moment that Northeastern was by far the better team. The only advantage that Reidsville has over the Eagles is #20 at running back. We have two good running backs that are both faster than he is but #20 is better than our two imo. What I have witnessed over the last month has been nothing short of miracle. This Northeastern team led by a superstar and highly underrated QB is playing on another level. He is a true leader and aside from his play making, his decision making has been impressive. He no longer makes those wtf throws that he was doing early season. Now, if the pass isn't there he will tuck and run. At 6'3 215 he's the leading rusher on our team averaging over 100 yards a game. Then add in our defense which is without question one of the tops in the state led by All American Kaveon Freshwater and the wild man himself Mr Jameson Fletcher. These are the reasons I pick Northeastern to not only win but to win big. Northeastern has always played better on the road and nothing I saw from Reidsville changed my mind.

I can't speak for James Davis but I know without a doubt that we can score at will on Reidsville. This wind may slow our QB down some but at the same time Pinnix has to deal with it also. You are absolutely clueless. My families pool room is by Northeastern High School. What are you even talking about? It's not a hole in the wall either. It's small but it hosts the Great Dismal Swamp 9 Ball Classic which was dubbed the strongest small field tournament in the world by AZ Billiards. We have the top players from Russia,China,Phillipines,UK,and numerous other countries converge in Elizabeth City. Fact check that why don't you. All you need to do is a Google search of my event. I worked in one, here, as a teenager. My boss, at age 16, bought his pool room, bought a house for his family and owned a corvette. He won the money from another man, playing nine ball, who had won a large civil judgment as the result of a car accident. Your posts remind me of him, a lot. He died a little over a year ago but he too was one confident guy.
I love my team but I try and keep it real also. My entire life I've been a gambler and as a betting man I'd take Northeastern all day. I honestly wouldn't bet $$ that we'd win by 21 plus but I'd bet big $$ that the Eagles come away with the win. I think we'll win by 21 but I wouldn't bet real cash on that. That would be high risk, the odds and possible payout return would have to be huge for me to do that. You guys are going to see a good game tonight, wish I was there. This wind does suck though, it's blowing like crazy over here on the coast. It will definitely make things challenging for the qb's tonight
Good story, I'm definitely confident but not cocky. I am a very humble and outgoing person in person. I just see in this team what others don't. I traveled all over NC gambling on 9 ball in pool rooms and bars from Hickory to Belhaven. I still play today but just not as much, although I did snap off a 9 ball bar box tournament up in Delaware a couple months back that paid quite well.
If I was there I'd take all bets. Unfortunately I'm stuck here in Camden.

Awesome @Maiden Creek !!! I got the sign I was looking for when Coach Moore called me yesterday and asked me to speak to the team before they left at 11:25 am. We talked for quite a while and then another coach from Reidsville's conference reached out to me via text message. That was all the sign that I needed. I wish I was there but i just couldn't be. Had I of gone though I was going to sit on the Reidsville side.
