No matter who wins…. I’ll be proud there’s a CVAC team still in it and I get to see another game.
Let’s see….we all could be headed to Reidsville or maybe CHASE….then again….it might be over here in little ole Maiden. 😜

I would agree about Hibriten being best until I seen Burns this year …. Nobody is close to the entrance that Burns has now

As much as I liked the old days, I have to agree that something in or near the town of Maiden does attract quality players to the area. Success, support, and shiny stuff attracts talent.

A local program here shot some fireworks into their fans and band this year. It's important to have pros do the work. Burns does a great job!
BH wins this game easily for a few reasons.
1) It's about time for the annual Maiden choke
2) BH players and coaches know they had Maiden beat before
3) This feels like a few years ago when Maiden beat Foard and went undefeated in the regular season and followed that up with a loss to Foard in the first round (I think they even got shut out). I have a relative that played for Foard that year.
My prediction: BH (New Kings of the CVAC) 32
MHS (Our run is over) 14 (Maiden gets late TD in garbage time)

Yes that is pretty cool! From an intimidation standpoint I would still take Hibriten, but that entrance is legit!
1) Maiden only chokes against actual competition
2) we gave your offense a short field all night and 3 turnovers and you still couldn't beat us
3) this feels like that time Bunker Hi....oh wait...Bunker Hill doesn't have a "that time" to even speak of

That's pretty good. Years ago wrh had a live band of students that would play "back in black" as the dogs entered the field among fireworks, smoke bombs, and a cannon shot or two. That was awesome too. Seem like I heard fire Marshall's shut it down, idk for sure.
I ain't worried about bulletin board material. Our team will back it up tonight! Just wait and see! Might have a couple of surprises in store for you!

My wife's dog got out of her mom's yard yesterday around 4pm on 10th Avenue in Maiden and has been missing ever since. We've looked high and low since 5 yesterday till 1 this morning then started again at 6am till now.
I'm pooped... and while this game would provide much needed relief to my mood I don't know if I'll be coming. Don't want to leave my wife at home alone...the last thing she wants to do is come to the game and answer the same 5 questions 100 times...
so if I don't make it...please keep me posted. If I do make it...I'll keep you posted...and either way

Bunker Hill can definitely win this game as they proved last time but dang boys y'all have had about 5 good seasons in the past 50 years. I don't think I'd let my head get too big.
