Curtis Simpson is a phenomenal athlete. He always been a little taller and a little faster than most his age. In youth football he played qb, we, db, and some running back. Coming through middle school it seemed like he was on track to be a big time wideout and/or safety. Curtis gets to high school and he is moved to defensive end. There were some of us thinking what the h-e double hockey stick is going on with him playing with his hand in the dirt. This kid is probably going to be a D1 wideout and the coaches have him playing defensive end. Last year you could see him flashing tremendous potential. I knew he was going to be a terror this season after continuing to add size and strength in the off season. The lesson in this is sometimes we all as fans need to let the coaches do their job developing and coaching these kids. Myself included. The majority of coaches actually know what they are doing lol. Whatever coach thought of switching this kid to dl from where he had played his whole life needs a cigar and has a great eye for talent.
