2A Clinton basketball Dec 3-7

Clinton had their home opener Monday which resulted in both boys and girls teams winning over North Brunswick....girls won 58-46 while boys won 79-58.....tonight they traveled to county rival Lakewood both teams once again were victorious girls winning 45-36 while boys won 68-21.....both teams are 4-1 they will both have a opportunity to avenge their only loss of the season when Wilson Fike comes to Clinton tomorrow evening

Clinton girls were victorious over Fike Friday evening by the score of 52-47 improving to 5-1 unfortunately the boys were not able to follow suit losing to a undefeated Fike team 71-61 Clinton boys bow 4-2 on the season......next week both Clinton teams will play 3 games starting with a second go round with Smithfield-Selma on Tuesday at home then they travel to Southern Wayne on Wednesday with the conference opener vs James Kenan at home next Friday
