If Draughn keeps up the transfers too much they’ll go over the 1A limit and have to jump back to 2A which would suck lol. Years ago North Lincoln barley I mean barley missed the 2A cut off By like 5 or 6 students and had to play 3A. Which they do now anyway cause of more people in genera moving to area, BUT back then it was Kids transferring in cause they liked the band.

Swain back in the day (but it is one county). Mount Airy and Tarboro seem to do okay.

2023 Predictions
1. Bunker Hill- Returning 9 on offense and 10 on defense.
2. Maiden - Maiden will find some transfers happens every year
3. Bandys- Mike Helms is taking over the offense so expect the offense to click more and they return a decent amount
4A- Lincolnton - return about 50% will always be competitive
4B- West Lincoln- have always been a steady team don’t think they will be as good as they were last year but will be competitive
6- East Burke - they are returning a lot supposedly so will be interesting to see how they do this upcoming season
7- Newton Conover - no clue how they will be. They were probably the most unorganized/prepared team I watched last year
8- West Caldwell - just getting through til basketball

No disrespect intent but facts are facts that BH has had 2 good season in a while so I like Yall School and Ill prob will attend a game this yr but lets call it a spade of spade and I am happy for yall to be good too
Expect more of East Burke than that. I could be wrong as some of us are on our predictions. Just expect more folks. Next year will be the shot at playoffs and May not have another for a while after that even with a talented QB coming up from middle school. Dude has to get adjusted to high school which will be a jump for anyone that age. Also Got to have a cast of motivated strength and tallent around him, will he? Hard to say this early and track hadn’t started yet.

As anyone that has followed football AND track, it’s obvious that in the spring these same boys(unless they play baseball) are pads off and testing their strength and speed. Get ready to see a show when EB steps onto the track. Bandys took the conf crown last year in a dogfight close finish with EB. Bandys, this year you’re going down!! Ha ha.
Don't underestimate the kings of the valley. We won't just hand over the crown. Let's just see how the off-season finishes shaking out. Before we make bold predictions. 😉😂😂

Here is an early preview of maiden with some holes and guessing so take it with a grain of salt for know. We have 3 current freshman lineman all 300 plus pounds and a sophomore lineman that started right at 300. So we could possibly have four 300 lb lineman starting next year. We return 6'5 wr misher and new kid from Tennessee 6'4. So we could have twin towers at Wr. Now of course I didn't mention a few spots that could be open to question.

Hey, speaking of being put away, when I retired from my job I sent the required paperwork in. Someone from HR, which is located several hours away from Lincolnton, had a question about something on one of the forms so they called the office where I worked.
I happened to be off when they called. The lady from HR told my co-worker that for some reason she thought I had passed away, and I can see how she might have thought that since they (the HR Dept.) have many employees to keep up with.
This witty, impudent co-worker (I ought to put her name on here because I think she reads the NC Preps message boards) told the HR associate that I HAD in fact passed away but I'd forgot to lay down. What a Sm@rt@leck.
Anyways, thanks for saying something as it's always good to hear from AMD. Be careful over at the demolition contest. You must know that anyone who enjoys that has to be a bit of a daredevil or rebel. Course, it's just in some of us. Maybe that's why people ride motorcycles.

LOL, no it’s not her, OC. She was always serious but I have a feeling that even she woulda’ got a laugh out of my premature passing.
OC, if there is any place on earth where a laugh was needed it would be in that kind of environment.
