Northeastern/Pasquotank

The battle of Pasquotank County will happen tomorrow night at Pasquotank and on Time Warner Cable. Awesome to see the northeast part of the state finally getting some love. Pasquotank got torched by Hertford County last week while Northeastern won a thriller over Edenton. Pasquotank has some athletes in Oatman and the Cowell twins, but their biggest weakness is up front on both sides of the ball. Northeastern leads the all-time series 25-1. I see this being close at the beginning, but don't be surprised if Northeastern pulls away after half. I'm going Northeastern 49-21. Thoughts and predictions?

The New High School System

New drug testing in the school system..

The next thing would be is to deal with them cell phones in the class rooms...
The next thing would be to deal with Chips, drinks, and all sorts of food in the class rooms...
The next thing would be head sets in the class rooms...
The next thing would be all the beautification equipment[make up, nail filer, ect...] in the class rooms....

Total Distraction and with this comes a change in a students attitude and innocent bystanders will capture the same cancer.

Nothing should be on the desk except the student, paper, textbooks, pen/pencil. That's it...

Four County Week 10

With 4 correct prediction Friday night, my record improves to 33-7.

Game of the Week
East Bladen vs Wallace-Rose Hill- Still don't know the status of the Hines Twins. I hope they will return this week. Without them, our chances go significantly down. Hard to make a prediction based on that fact alone. My guess is they will be back ready to go. If so, East Bladen will hand the Bulldogs their second loss. East Bladen 17 Wallace-Rose Hill 14

Clinton vs West Bladen- Clinton's running game will be too much for the Knights. Their Defense will get exposed early and Clinton will pound it with Skinner and company. Clinton 41- West Bladen 0

Midway vs Trask- I don't think Midway can afford to overlook Trask. Trask has some athletes at the skill positions. This one will be tight the whole way. Midway 21- Trask 14

Pender vs Union- Union will get back on track against a Patriot team that's allowing a bunch of points. Union 35- Pender 0

#5 SouthWest Edgecombe 13 Washington 53

If I wasn't there myself, I would think that the title score was a typo, but alas, it's not. Washington defeats #5 on offense, defense, and special teams, enforcing a running clock in the process. It was the first quarter that did the Cougars in, as Washington scored on the second play from scrimmage from 48 yards out, followed by a blocked punt recovered at the 1, an easy 1 yard TD, another punt on the ensuing SWE drive that saw the snap go into the end zone and recovered by Washington for a TD, which then saw a fumble by SWE on their very next play be recovered by Washington, who then takes in in from 13 yards out....and before you know it, it's 26-0 Washington, with three minutes left in the first. That was the ball game, because from then on out, SWE wasn't into it. Credit Washington for taking our will away. I hate that we didn't get to see a hard fought game, but SWE was done playing after the half. At 13-33, SWE had an opportunity to make it 20-33 going into the half with the possession of the ball coming out, but Washington themselves scored with 9 seconds left to make it 13-40. Our goose was cooked at that moment. I told people that Washington was NOT down. Their three losses came to teams with a combined record of 21-1, and they've beaten some pretty good teams. They actually have the #1 toughest 2A schedule. It's been said that the SWE team was feeling themselves. Hopefully, this brought them back down a little and motivates them. Losing is one thing. Losing how we did......ouch.

SWE 0 13 0 0 = 13

Interview Live at 7:30pm tonight click here
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/access...ejohn--reagan-hs-football-mlb-cancer-survivor

Savion Littlejohn is a senior MLB for the Reagan High School football team lead by head coach Josh McGee in Pfafftown, NC. As a junior, Savion was a part of the best season in Reagan football history. The team went 12-0 winning the Central Piedmont 4A Conference Championship. Regan won it's first two State playoffs games, which was also a first for the school. Prior to the third round game, Savion started having pain in his back, it was so severe that he was held out that game.

After the pain became more severe, Savion and his family decided that he should go see a doctor. After all the test were ran, he received the news that he had been diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma "Cancer" it was a tumor in his back. It rendered him unable to walk from what he thought was just a sports related injury. At first I thought, to be completely honest, I thought my life was coming to an end, cancer is a scary word for anybody. I was scared at the moment.? - Savion Littlejohn From November-April, Savion spent it in a room at Brenner Children's Hospital were he had undergone multiple treatments of chemotherapy to attack the cancer.

Through the trials of chemotherapy — sores in his mouth and throat that left him unable to eat after the second wave of treatment, fever and burning pain in his extremities during the current third wave — he keeps fighting. Mason Linker - Winston Salem Journal

The Reagan Football team, school and community rallied around him. They raised money my selling $3 bracelets that had Savion Soldier on the top and on the bottom the words "No Raider Rides Alone" His teammates and friends visited him in the hospital frequently providing food for him and his family three days a week. In April 2015, Savion received the news that he was cancer free. Knowing football season was around the corner, he began working out to get stronger so he could be ready.

Rosman at cherokee

will my braves rebound ... Big question after the terrible performance lady week against swain. once again we shall see a run heavy offense ... Cherokee threw the ball well but had no running game . Rosman defense seems very tough be interesting if they can stop Mintz and company ... Hope for a better game go Braves !!!!

Northeastern/Edenton

Big game Friday night as Northeastern makes the 30 minute drive over to Edenton. Eagles had a bye last week while Edenton squeaked out a win vs Currituck 16-13. From what I'm hearing, Edenton is back to full strength after having a handful of players out with injuries. Coach Hoggard brings in a spread system with him in his first year at the helm. Regardless of Edenton's 4-4 record, they're still talented like their past teams. My pick is Northeastern over Edenton 28-21. Thoughts and predictions?
