How the tables have turned

Most of you may wonder what a Catholic fan is doing posting on the 1A boards, but I just have some thoughts on my mind concerning a former 1A power. Albemarle.
Man how the tables have turned in Stanly County, I remember just a few years back the thought of West Stanly and North Stanly beating Albemarle was laughable, now as we enter 2016 it looks like a real possibility that Albemarle could go 0-for against Stanly County schools(I do give them a better shot against South Stanly though).
I have a few good friends who coach in Stanly County and it just seems the tables have turned. I've noticed a large migration of talent northward away from Albemarle when in past years it'd been the opposite. Just strange to see.
I for one think West and North Stanly will both beat Albemarle down this year. That is just the truth. I for one cannot believe I just typed that and no disrespect to those programs, but my oh my how the tables have turned...

Triad

For the triad people

So Far East Forsyth is looking stellar on defense, DL is all returning from last year with the exception of a junior defense end being looked at by duke also won't be able to pass the ball with 2nd all team all American Khalid Martin and Madison cone (Wisconsin) in the back field.

Offense: OL is stellar, RB is stellar biggest question mark is WR/ QB. Looks like a lot of running the ball this year. Anyone seen page, west Forsyth, other triad teams?

**Spartanburg Vikings to practice with Carolina Panthers**

On Thursday Aug 4, 2016 the Spartanburg Vikings will hold a practice with the Carolina Panthers at Gibbs Stadium (Wofford College). This will be an ever lasting experience for players and coaches of the Vikings. Gibbs Stadium is where Spartanburg play all their home games and it is also where the Panthers hold their summer trainning camp. Thanks to the Carolina Panthers for making this happen for the Vikings program. **GO VIKINGS**

Is KJ Henry (West Forsyth) the best Player in the State? Many think so...

6'6 225lb Junior DE KJ Henry has 50 plus college offers including Alabama... As many football people know, Alabama doesn't just offer up a scholarship to players from the state of North Carolina. In fact, I can't think of anybody in recent years who have received a scholarship from Bama. They did have some interest in Shy Tuttle but it was interest only... Correct me if I'm wrong... I've also heard the rumors of Alabama recruits feeling the ghost of former players during their visits. That's weird; but they are a dynasty. Clemson has a great shot at KJ too because Dabo is captivating recruits with his fun but serious approach to football.

For the record:
West Forsyth has produced some impact DE's the past few years, 6'6 Alex McAlister(Florida) is now with the Philadelphia Eagles. 6'5 Jalen Dalton is starting for UNC and will be on display against Geogia week one. I've personally seen all 3 a lot...and KJ Henry has better motor, better speed, incredible leader and more athletic with a great head on his shoulders on and off the field. Good Luck! KJ Henry.

Scotland Fans

On Monday, I will be coming to Laurinburg to Scotland High. Anyone in the area that wants to come by and pick up a copy of my NCPrep book can. Zamir is the pre-season POY and Sammy Batten has wrote a special article on him. The book is $15.

Hopefully, I will be at the school around 5 to 5:30. I do have some other stops to make before I get there.

Would like to meet some Scot fans!!
