MA loses some studs! Graduating Starters are #3,5,15,21,25,32,51,54,65.
MA key returning players are # 1,2,4,10,12,20,22,44,50,66,70,71.
#80 prob be the kicker and play D end. #2 QB and can throw the heck out of the ball.
#4 may be as good as Mason when its said and done.
#22 Can run the ball just as good and will get his time now.
And watch out for #10 hurt most of season but will pop you and runs ball good.
#71 is back and is the plug in the middle on D.
Good group of big sized lineman coming up. Most of all these kids have 2 years left.

Mount Airy ranked #1 best in NC and ranked #9th-best Nationally in scoring with 809 points scored in their 2023 season. Only 12 teams scored over 800 points nationally.

#1 in North Carolina was 809 Points — Mount Airy (N.C.)
#2 in North Carolina was 791 Points — Dudley (Greensboro, N.C.)
#3 in North Carolina was 788 Points — Clinton (N.C.)
#4 in North Carolina was 720 Points — Northeastern (Elizabeth City, N.C.)
#5 in North Carolina was 719 Points — Hickory (N.C.)
This did include all classifications in the nation.

BEARS 2008 State Champions team scored 845 points in winning the State Champions in 2008 scored 778 in their 2022 State Champions and 717 as State runner-up in 2009.

And on a side note, the team and players broke some School & NCHSAA records. What can we expect next year ? Go BEARS 🐻Football🏈2024 !

The South Carolina High School League (SCHSL) announced their reclassification and realignment plans after they passed a proposal last month to try and balance the competition.

SC has done a “3-student count” for charter school students outside of a school’s geographic region in an attempt to balance the “recruiting or not recruiting” issue which may put some charter schools in a higher classification in South Carolina.

The controversy at Gray Collegiate Academy (Columbia) area was such that 6 conference schools forfeited games with them.

I knew it was coming. I like a lot of what Gibson did but 3 wins in 2 seasons is not enough. It’s especially bothersome that the previous coach caught so much flack but won 4 games in 1 season. I wish Kenny would come back and groom the next coach
