8-0 Lake Norman Ladies take on 7A Campbell Ga in Cherokee Invitational this morning.

Lake Norman Ladies on the short side of 47 to 40 against Ga 7A Campbell.

Looking at Campbell roster they look to have some good size players. Several with 6’ plus size girls. Apparently they are good team to have dealt with.

LKN went 2-1 at the Cherokee Tournament losing a close game to Campbell 47-40. Campbell had a LOT of size rotating in out rebounded and denied the lane also LKN could not hit the contested shots. Next game against Newton Ga was an unintentional overtime thriller. The shots that were falling in the first half got up by 23. Give all the credit Newton came back to tie then LKN ran to win 76-69 in OT. Last game was a chippy win over a very good Willow Spings 4a east. Willow Spring has a roster that can be very disruptive come playoffs in the 4a East
