Holt seems like a good guy. Their defense has seemed to keep them in games for the first few years, even when their offense was struggling. And I thought he was going to try to honor the veer tradition and run a veer look out of gun. So what in the world are they even attempting to do on offense these days? If the offense is sucking, the answer seems real obvious - go back to running the same offense that made Swain a consistent powerhouse for decades! Just an idea!

Also seems like I heard that he doesn't even live in Bryson?

Defense is their key and Hernandez, that fella I think I found my fav defensive player. Prob didn’t get that many stats yet cause he’s double blocked or ball released early. One of the many reasons this defense can hold.

My basic question about Saint, based off of these boards do they have 2 or 3 guys maybe 4 about every year here and there that can really play and would be starters or good backups for Hickory and could play at next level but that they don’t mesh together as an overall team for this reason or that based off depth n such?

Finally got the scoop on this: It was the language barrier. He was supposed to go to Malta, not Maiden, Malta. That's where The Apostle Paul was shipwrecked, you know-It's on this side of Sicily.

Word is, some bearded travel agent they met on skype made the arrangements and that's where things got mixed up. Wonder who this whiskered, mysterious soul really is. Only clue is that he goes by initials...Uh Huh !
Bet you don't know nothing about that, do you AMD.

I would give you some business, maybe like a Caribbean vacation, but you'd probably put me on a one-way flight to Cuba.

I'm all in on that and i remember watching that 2019 ES team beat the brakes off of us. They probably would have beaten most teams in NC except for the very elite 4A and 3A teams. I don't think we have the fire power to get into a shoot out with the Rams. Our best chance is to play lights out defense and keep them from quick big play scores. Slow the game down and have time consuming drives. I believe in the team and coaching staff and we will be ready. All i'm saying is so far they have manhandled their oppenents.

Owen Warhorses

I’ve gotta say Owen has improved in the last 4 weeks a ton. They lost 3-0 to East Henderson who is now 3-1. They fought hard all night and had chances to take the win including having first and goal from the 3 late in the game. They were unable to punch it in but I believe wins are coming. Stay the course gentlemen. Your chips are accumulating and you will win some games. I said it after the Enka game we literally at any given time have 85-90% freshmen and sophomore’s on the field, so with basically a jv team we are giving varsity larger school teams all they want. We were in the games with NB and NH till late in the games also and just ran out of gas with a lack of depth. If the players and coach’s will stick around and keep building I can see multiple wins this year and probably double the wins next year and even more the following year. More of our kids need to come out and play also. There is some talent it’s just young. I really like what upperclassmen we have just don’t have many. I believe it’s 7-8 total. It’s coming Warhorses you can see it. Buy in to your staff and each other and block out the noise. You can only be successful if everyone is pulling in the same direction. The valley is with you!!
