What happened?South Stanly’s coaches and fans should be ashamed of the way their players acted out there especially in the 4th quarter.

In our defense, that was also after we went to five straight 2a title games winning 3 of them. It was a big dip in talent when we moved down in 13. With that said, wish both teams an injury free game this week. When they were 1a, they were the best two 1a schools in the state. The 4yrs that they played with Tarboro, when Tarboro moved down to 1a, JK(1) and Wallace(3) won the state championship every year.
I don't think this is a good comparison. Reagan had their QB in the Mooresville game. Their offense was a little bit different the rest of the season, especially against East in the 2nd game after his injury.Mooresville only loss was to Reagan 34-28. East Forsyth beat Reagan 69-21. I don’t think East Forsyth will dominate Mooresville like that but Mooresville definitely will have to bring it to stay in the game.
I see the All-Conference List for the MPC has been released. ND has 11 on the list. Did the kid make the list, or did he truly get left off? Kind of curious because that's a big ol' dumb error in judgement if it went down like that.It is true. They told him he made all conference. He did not. Plain and simple. Facts over fiction.
Adding Grier to that mix makes a big difference! They went from not having a primary ball handler to having one in crunch time. He has made a world of difference already.I’ve only seen a handful of big games they’ve played but you sure seem to be right. Went to page tonight to see them play just out of curiosity. I speculated that page would run them out of the gym with athleticism, but they just didn’t and Ledford ended up winning. It’s absolutely mind bending to see the difference in how Ledford has played in recent memory to this year.
Mooresville secondary has to play well but they are good enough and they did keep NWW held to 2 big plays tho. Mooresville has to clean up penalties as well but Mooresville D is good and How was the OL? Mooresville DL has been a wrecking crewNot sure about the wet part for Friday but wind and cold didn’t play a factor in the 334 yards Baker threw for last week and 4TDs
Thanks I guess….Wow, Monroe posters posting more than one post. I'm not even a Monroe guy but I was the ONLY one "posting for them" the past 2 seasons.
He said after Bears beat them he couldn't take it anymore and went up deep in to the Hills to live off the grid!Where has BK been?
It’s sad how much he hates on Monroe. He made a whole post congratulating TJ Davis for committing. But when Jordan Young committed he didn’t say anything nor post about it.
Thanks Chopper...Wow, Monroe posters posting more than one post. I'm not even a Monroe guy but I was the ONLY one "posting for them" the past 2 seasons.
Don’t think we will see 63 points total this game much less 63 by one team. Need to win the turnover battle and get a grip on the penalties. Stay focused on the task at hand. Time for the defense step up and make a statement. Need a complete game on that side of the ball. What are your thoughts. They must be pretty good or they wouldn't be in the 3rd round. The Pack may have their hands full in this one. I look for the defense to really step it up if we pull this one out.
Been there and done that.
Eh…That is the one we saw last week, good deer
You know if you can figure out how to post pics I would love to see him!!
2 points? You still would have lost, stop it. If one of you types that sh* one more time...

..anyway youll be back next year
They're ran from companies from all over. $$$If you are a veteran NC teacher you can now early retire or retire and work in NC at some charter schools and double dip without having to move to another state or drive to SC or VA to do it. Several of these new charters are actually sanctioned in Arizona and other states. The pay and benefits are often better than staying with the NC systems.
Yep this is gonna be a very tough one for us to win. Got to play smartThey may need multiple camera men to beat rolesville Friday.
Shhhh….Is it true that ER is pretty young this year with a bunch of 10th and 11th graders starting? If so they will not do anything but get better.
Been there and done that.Actually 3 way split hickory City schools, Newton city schools and Catawba county schools
A long time NC coach (who will remain nameless) in the 70's and 80's commented on this phenomenon. One year, he went 10-0, won the conference and made a deep run in the playoffs. The next year, they went 1-9 and fans were asking for his head. He said than in a very brief span, he went from "God to goddam." Fans can be fickle. Quickly. Richmond will be OK. Too much tradition. The season started out blaming Richmond coach for his arrival and the game plan. Richmond's fan barely knew him and the blame begun. The fans begun with statements that Richmond would never make it this year because of the hired coach and the formation he planned to run.
It seems that the narrative around coaches often swings dramatically based on immediate results. Initially, it’s easy for fans to criticize a coach without fully understanding the complexities of their role, including the challenges of team dynamics, injuries, and the pressure of high expectations. When the team begins to win, as Richmond has, the atmosphere shifts. Fans rally behind the coach, celebrating the victories and attributing the success to their leadership. The moment the results waver, the same fans who once praised him can quickly turn to doubt and criticism. It's interesting to consider the psychology behind this. Fans are often emotionally invested in their teams, and the highs and lows of a season can lead to extreme reactions.
The pressure in playoff situations can be immense, and once a team hits a rough patch, all the praise can quickly shift to blame. It’s almost as if the narrative shifts entirely based on one or two games, Richmond fans quickly begin overlooking the hard work and strategic planning that went into the entire Richmond coaching staff season. As Richmond fans or any fan base, it’s essential to recognize that coaching is a multifaceted job that requires consistent effort and adaptability, especially under pressure.
