The Rebel Bulls like to pass so this should be a good test for the Ram defense.

The Rams have scored 526 points (47.8 pts a game) while only giving up 78 points (7.1 pts a game).

I was impressed with the defense against Andrews. Only gave up 9 yards of total offense. I felt that the offense wasn't quite where I thought it should be but I believe that the Rams were using the game as more of a scrimmage.

The South Stanly game presents a different challenge. Looking forward to it.

Starmount by 28+. SS can score quickly with good athletes on the edge and the QB is soliud. Starmount will pound them upfront.

Starmount has the best helmet? Agreed. Best tradition? Agreed. B. W. days and style of football seem to be back at Starmount. I will say this... SS lost to you by about 60 two or three years ago. SS has a new sheriff and seems to be doing a lot better than expected. Starmount should win by 20 according to the power gurus....but, I will say that it won't be a running clock at halftime like it was three or four years ago.

Oh it wasn’t meant to be a knock on SS. No hate toward them at all. I just saw the photo of the helmet and remembered that it was the best looking helmet in the history of the sport.

Starmount is balanced on offense but has recently turned it up a notch on rushing the ball.

The Rebel Bulls like to throw the ball so it’s going to be a good test for the Ram defense. We know they have a good pass rush.

I expect a pretty good Ram crowd to come down for the game on Friday night.

Starmount in a first half blowout....one of the things I hate about the seedings is when a powerhouse has to go on the road for a contest like this...

I know some coaches that don't mind going on the road to an overmatched opponent. It helps get over jitters and will establish the expectations and routines for playoff travel. All things considered I am sure they would rather be at home, but it does provide some benefits.

Very true

Want be like the nice turf Starmount played on this season.
It will be a world of difference and the one goal post has a slight lean to it. Field needs some work but the rumor is that SS will eventually close and be consolidated to another school. Anyone from SS know if this is true.

I read somewhere that back in the day the favorite food of the Rebel Soliders was wild sheep. Wonder if that is still true.
Might find out tomorrow evening.

South Stanly’s coaches and fans should be ashamed of the way their players acted out there especially in the 4th quarter.
I've seen North Stanly play dirty over the years and be mouthy late in games especially if they're losing. Must be a Stanly county thing. I live near the Stanly/Union line and everyone seems nice over that way and I'm over there quite a bit. Could just be bad coaching. I just got home from the Wingate/Virginia Union D-2 playoff game and Virginia Union pulled the upset. Afterwards they acted like pure trash on the field so I think it's more of a sign of the coaching staff.

Dang it. Was hoping Wingate would pull it out this season…
