No chance… Tarboro by 21 plus, although Pender is a decent team.

I’d say a a score similar to their game with Whiteville this year.

We lost to Mitchell 33-0 that year not dowing that team as Mitchell was really good but they played as well as they could have against Murphy.

Against West Stokes they were big plays for scores. West had 6 more first downs and had more time of possession. West runningback had 27 carries for 186 yards and 3 TD. If you can keep Monroe from quick scores should be good ball game. Shelby should be able to matchup. They had 8 penalties and West 6

Would EB want Mike Helms or his son or neither 😀? I assume if you get one, you may get both but maybe not.

I believe Helms is coordinator for Bandys right now, not sure if he has QB to try to run what Bandys runs but good coaches adjust to their players.

Their acting as if jk hasn’t no history, yes we had a down slope for about 5-7 years but ever since the head coach change JK has been on its rise and hasn’t had a losing season since the Covid year. 2 years ago we had a one possession game with ED and they ended up winning the ring, last year was a weird year where we looked competitive but the team just kept shooting itself in the foot with on and off the field problems. This isn’t new territory, we’ve been here, and NE has too so it’s time they act like it.

Everyone knows that they are very good. I am not going to water down how good by using our injuries as an excuse. They scored at will on us and without penalties it could have been worse. It is what it is. Sometimes the other team is better and has experience. They are a senior led team and looked impressive but saying we played with a JV QB and no starting RB 1 was just not true. It was nothing but a statement to make it seem like Monroe wasn't what the score reflected.
