As for all the bashing EW players and coaches on here. Yes. There was numerous and I mean numerous unnecessary hits, shoves, ball throwing, etc by BOTH teams. Neither is worse than the other. Me personally blame the officials for letting plays drag out so long. Numerous times the whistle never even blew, the kids just got up and went on. When you have 2 teams who fight for every yard and to the whistle and then officials aren't going to stop the play after forward progress, then this is the kind of results you get, not to mention someone hurt. I'm usually not one to bash officials but this was piss poor officiating and I don't mean by calling bad penalties, I literally mean the lack of doing their job.
Again hats off to Heritage for the W. I agree with a Mitchell poster. Heritage doesn't have much size or anything fancy, they will just run right at you. EW didn't come to play and this is the result you get.
Good year for my Cards 10-3. Lose a few (Qb, wr) but the majority of the line and all of the backfield will be returning.
