This is Clinton’s biggest game of the year at least till playoffs. Rivalry game for both but I think Clinton needs it more. If Clinton wins it could propel them to a championship. If they lose , not sure how they respond come playoff time. WRH will probably shorten possessions. Probly 7-8 possessions for each team. Bulldogs o line will have probly the best test they’ll have all year. I think Clinton is really good and maybe the best team in 2a after WRH. 29-21 Bulldogs
Some are saying the away trip to Whiteville is Clinton’s toughest game on the schedule.

Haven’t lived in Clinton for two years but I assume the usual places still exist. Ribeyes,Ted’s Charcoal steakhouse,Hwy 55,Alfredo’s. If you like Mexican my favorite was Mi Fica(right across street from Big Blue) not far from stadium. Then of course the usual chain fast food places(Taco Bell,Burger King, mickie Ds, Arby’s etc)

Just a little information digging at work. Hate aside actually pretty impressive what these two have done thru out their history. As someone that loves the sport can’t help but respect the opponent. I could only go back to 1958 accurately so any matchups before then idk.
I would like to know WRH first state title and Clinton’s. Seems like I remember reading where Wallace had several years were they were right there and couldn’t win the eastern championship game or 3rd round playoff game to get to state, maybe in the Jack Holley years, then the flood gates opened once they got Joey Price and now Motsinger.

I can’t speak for the other side but during my research I noticed Jack Holley had a lot of good teams in the 80’s actually looking at it in both his stints as WRH coach don’t think he ever lost more than 5 games in a season which is impressive.
Clinton’s first title appearance was back in the 70’s 1976 3A vs Pisgah first title victory you should know it was against your Thomasville Bulldogs in 1990.
Clinton is in a Championship drought I guess you can call it. Last title victory was in 2005 last title appearance was in 2014 they were a game away in 2015 and 2019. Hoping 2023 will be the year we make a return. We shall see.
Y'all didn't hear it from me, but since 4am there's been ongoing fire ant maintenance emergency services performed on the field. Fingers crossed we get this under control quick. Finished application #3, have a 45 minute surveillance period and then we'll know something. But we need a 6 hour window before human interaction. If this doesn't take we have one more shot or we're looking at a delay. I'll keep everyone updated

What time does the game start now? I’d be sweating bullets if I was the fire ants crew. But I hope this puts a delay to the game since my boss is making me work late and probably can’t get there until halftime. I’m hoping to find a good seat somewhere to watch fromii a realizable distance and still be able to listen to the radio

All is well, another successful job. And there is absolutely zero risk to the players since all potential side affects are primarily age driven based on the chemistry. Hopefully none of the officials are over the age of 69. And even if they are, survival rate is still extremely high.
