I think we can manage atleast 21 especially with Smith back....could of been worse last week if we finished drives and didnt have the turnovers we have....1% better i think they will put it all together this week....or atleast i hope lol

Remember last season this was the game offensively we got something started after struggling the first two games....if it wasnt for some poor special teams play we should of won that game last year
Hopefully this will be the week offense gets things turned around then. If our offense can match up to our defense then we will be hell on wheels.
Agreed the upside is definitely there but offense has to show up.....despite what some naysayers think i dont see anyone just simply running over our defense in conference that includes ED and WRH that Front 7 by far is night and day in regards to how they performed last season....and of course the addition of Mohamed Kaba makes a difference aswell
The offense will eventually come together, it may not be this week but they will sometime this season.
And our defense is only going to get better and better each week, as long as they all stay healthy. From what I've seen so far this year this is one of the best defenses that Clinton has had in a while.

2016 defense overall was awesome from front to back but i will say so far the front 7 dline and linebackers are just as good if not better than that group...secondary were solid they will do the job but not ready to say they better than Tyion Wright,Kris Williams,Khari Williams,and Jamarian Smith that secondary was good
You're right, however I think by the time we go into playoffs this year our secondary will be very stiff.

Yeah it is crazy man! I heard we lost 3 RB's and they were supposed to be starters!
Yeah would of either been starters in backfield/WR/DBs but it is what it is and we focused on the guys we do have out there....hopefully next season they will be back....was really disappointed in one guy in particular wont say any names but he is too talented to not be on the field hope he learns from this

Finally got a chance to look at a JV roster and match some names to numbers.....ill say this size wont be a problem for a couple years they got some big boys some i didnt realize were freshmen.....6'2 235....6'2 250....5'11 323 5'10 278 thats alot of beef in the 9th grade......the 2 starting running backs go 5'11 190 and 5'11 210 both also freshmen....also didnt realized Ryheem's younger brother is playing aswell definitely some bright spots on our JV sadly i wont be able to make the trip to Jacksonville today due to work so i wont be posting any JV updates

Well JK eyes will be all over this game. Got NSJ and Clinton back to back in September. Going to be a big two weeks for us. Eager to see the Clinton defense, already sounds like Avent will have his work cut out throwing on y’all. 9/21/18 a night of incredible matchups to start conference play.
From what a Northside poster told me on another site this isnt a typical NS-JAX team slightly down from years past but ill find out tomorrow.....should be a good game tho definitely a game we would like to win being the home opener and it being against them(old conference rival)....if we can pull it out go into a open week with alot of confidence getting Southern Lee at home after that really good chance to go into conf play at 3-1....but one game at a time
Yea I have also heard that this NSJ team is down. JK also took them into halftime tied at 0-0 last year I believe. Depth killed us against them last year. I really think JK will beat NSJ in a few weeks. Clinton takes care of business and JK keeps improving and we could both be 3-1 when we meet up in September.
What are you, twelve? I’ve known Coach Spell since middle school, and being a former classmate, I can say he’s a great man and excellent coach. Like Wiz stated, he is known state wide for the soccer powerhouse he has built. How many programs can boast a soccer stadium built with the help of the coach and community, with very little, if any tax dollars spent to build it? By the way, how is Lakewood’s soccer program doing these days?

Clinton fans should be hopeful they have a good showing Friday night. Alrhough I was not at the NHHS Northside game last week I was able to review the stats.
NHHS’s defense is young and a work in process but they only gave up 120 yards with NS’s longest drive being 24 yards.
The NHHS offense scored 24 points but turned it over 6, yep 6, times.
Maybe it was a bad game for NS but I think Clinton needs to win this one.

We have some good defensive players everyone gets to the ball
Kaba stats may not jump off the paper at you right now its still early in the season and like i said our defense gets after it Javiah Cruise a guy i talked about preseason is really good aswell led team in tackles last season well over 100..Dline with Sloan,Wilson,and Ellis all returning starters and good aswell.....we rotate alot of dlinemen in aswell that defensive fr ok nt goes deep im not kidding
Clinton JV falls 14-12 in hard frought game....up 12-0 young fellas gotta finish that one...wasnt at the game so dont knownthe full scoop but young fellas will learn from it...hoping for different result tomorrow evening
