CF filled up about 80%. I saw quite a few on the home side as well.Originally posted by T Roy C:
Will be nice to see visitor side completely full. Not too large but only Wilmington schools have filled it. New Bern has come close. Rose has come close. S Columbus came close. heard Cape Fear had a nice turnout last week.
NB and SC have been the the two best teams in the east for years now. They are the teams that others compare themselves with if they want to win it all. Our path crossed with SC before it would cross with NB so of course he circled it. It was out of respect not arrogance.Originally posted by go_scots:
So Coach Braswell and the Vikings circled a possible 3rd round match up with Scotland when the brackets were announced? [His words not mine] Scotland circled Friday December 12th! Sorry Hoggard but you guys just aren't OUR state championship game.
How many does the visitor's side hold?Originally posted by T Roy C:

That depends on how big your fans are.Originally posted by go_scots:

Sounds like you are getting your money's worth with those games. As for the Hoggard game, don't get your hopes up. We are probably 35 point underdogs and that's being generous.Originally posted by Middle Sound Heel:
Portcity,
I was at the 2003 Rose at Hoggard playoff game you talked about. Andre brown from Rose was unstoppable particularly in the second half. I am a native of Fayetteville but own a home in Wilmington in the laney district but I pull for Hoggard due to the fact that they used to play years ago in the Fayetteville conference when I was in High School. I hope hoggard can pull this one out. I live in Florida these days but I am in NC currentlyvisiting. I went to the 71st-Hillside game this past Friday and will be going to Charlotte for the Mallard creek-Providence game this Friday.

New Bern 3.5 hrs away the day after Thanksgiving 2012 was absolutely jam packed.
It was a regional final though. Expect a big crowd, expect Scotland to have more than
the home team.
Our side will definitely be filled.Originally posted by T Roy C:
When Hoggards stadium was built in 2000 It had capacity listed at 2300 on home side and 1200 on visitors side for total of 3500. Seems right.
A lot of Hoggard fans typically get there right at kickoff. This is good news for SC fans who are use to getting to the games early. I got to the RC- SC game at 6:00 and both sides were full. I was o. The field and had a good look both ways. There are areas to stand at both end zones but it isn't what you would call right on the field. There are large areas behind the goal posts then the track then the fence. Not ideal. The Viking fans will need to get there around 6:00.Originally posted by go_scots:
