Robbinsville new wrestling coach is David Haney. This will be his second time as head coach. One of the most influential guys to ever have a hand in the program.

He did at one point. Went to a private school in Pennsylvania. Someone that keeps up with wrestling on Twitter said he is going to Florida next year to wrestle high school.

He was the 152 pound 4A state champ as a 9th grader, Tech'd either a defending or high finishing senior from the previous year. He left High Point Central and went to PA and now may be moving again. Those large private schools with big time boosters make things happen for big time D1 recruits like Joe. Basically the same as college.

Robbinsville will have a girls team this year. Not sure if it's MS or HS or both. Looked like 8 or 10 girls.

Went 6-0 last night vs Fannin GA and Hayesville.

Some exciting news from Starmount High School as they will field a girls wrestling program this season. I think around 12 to 15 girls are participating.

That's great. Robbinsville has 20 on the middle school team. They look really aggressive.
I don't think any on Varsity.
