So your basically saying everyone in the mountains are unathletic morons, that's your argument? I would think the rest of the mountain teams don't share your opinion I hope.
Mack Brown went 2-20 his first two years at UNC. His record after his first 6 years of being a head coach (App St., Tulane, and UNC) was 19-48. Now he is the winningest active coach in college football, has a national championship ring, is a future HOFer, and is currently coaching UNC to Orange Bowls. Sounds familiar. How do you not see how asinine your argument regarding Coach Teague's early record is?

Perhaps it will not matter since I can’t make it to the game, but let’s get everyone all in a fuss over something that really matters. East is home team. Could someone please let the team know that us traditionalists would like to see navy jerseys and gold pants at least once this season?

I’m saying like everyone knows. We don’t have the athletes in volume that other areas do. We have a handful of what other areas field full teams with. So the coaching in my opinion has to overcome a lack of speed mostly. We have athletes but speed is not a overwhelming commodity here
His early record is about 10 seasons worth. What don’t you get about that. I’m saying he has benefited greatly from his situation of athletes. He obviously uses them well but I’m sure that other coaches could do much the same with the players he has

You seem to think Reidsville is a suburb of Charlotte in some kind of talent hotbed. Reidsville is small NC town. RHS is the smallest of 4 high schools in a midsized NC county. Reidsville looks like 50 other small towns in NC. If it was just "Jimmys and Joes", 50 other towns in NC should have HOF coaches as well. I wonder why they don't?
Not jealous. Y’all just try to talk down to everyone and are so arrogant. So I’m just calling it out. I’m actually on here rooting for Heritage and I simply stated I though Joey Robinson was a better coach than Teague and nobody I mean nobody has liked it or proven me wrong about the subject. I stated if Joey Robinson had the talent that Reidsville had yearly he would have the hardware too.

Sure they can. Some do. In small towns it's a system to grow players. Depends on what you commit to. Rams fans could be a little more humble tho. Things can change environment. But this year's Rams team is special.
Here's an idea, start another thread titled "best coach "and anybody who wants to continue this discussion can go to it and let this thread get back to being about the championship game this Saturday.

Guys let’s talk football. It don’t matter who anyone plays except for this game. That is a HOF coach that we are talking about. Someone at some point saw what he would bring to the Reidsville program and he brought it. We have seen how hard it is to win a state title, and they have done it numerous times. Although you are blessed with athletes and speed, that does not always produce championships. We have beaten teams with possibly 10 players in the field faster than anyone we had dressed. So coaching definitely plays a huge factor. Coach Teague and Coach Robinson have shown how to make adjustments against other skilled teams and that is why both have been successful. I can promise that there is nothing but respect between these 2 teams from the coaches and players. Let’s talk about key players and who needs to have a big game or something besides history. The Heritage faithful are going to enjoy this week like no other and the team will go and leave it all on the field Saturday. I expect no less from the Rams. I like a long running thread but let’s get some specifics on this years teams.

What’s some key players for heritage? From what I gather the qb, rb and linebacker seem like players to watch.
for reidsville, Kyle pinnix qb, breon pass, Kai rankin and Steveon Harrison are players to watch. You guys may remember some of those guys.
Those and some other players corner/wide receiver#12 and outside linebackers #10 and #43 (43 is my son) will be key players hoping to limit big plays. Big lineman #65 who goes both ways will be a key player.
Yea have played Pinnix a few times for sure. Pass caught a TD pass over the top on us a couple years back. We have played Breon in basketball a few times when he played for Team Felton and my son played with Forest City Heat. Hated to hear of his dad’s passing. He always was talking with us between games. Glad to see Breon going to play for my “Pack”.
And I could tell you how Mark came to be the Rams Head Coach. But I won't do that on these boards!!
Yeah. I will live. Even the 12 would have been a stretch. I’m going to have my wife put one of her gender neutral bands on her Apple Watch. That way I can wear it during the ceremony and read the updates from F4 without having to pull my phone out.
