Good heavens, what century are you even talking about here? It certainly isn't this century (when Byrnes is, what, 15-2 against Spartanburg?).

Serious question for you...how many of those 28 wins were you even alive for?
 
Who is hot team now? I'd love to see Dutch Fork and Tommy Knotts play a Mallard Creek or Butler.
 
My favorite guys in the world are guys who post things like " your scared" and then when you say...let's go Week 5 is open you get things like.
" Our schedule is posted online, sorry we can't play"

Trust me...if ya wanted to play MC is ready to go right now today and it could easily be worked out.

Confirmed last night that Week 5 is still open. Lets get that AD information so We can get that game scheduled. Otherwise...just more blabber
 
I must admit what Mallard Creek has accomplished in a short time span is great BUT they couldn't and wouldn't have accomplished that playing in the state of SOUTH CAROLINA!!
In 2009 Spartanburg finished the regular season at 3-8. They went to Dist 3 in Rock Hill and defeated a 10-0 number 1 seed Rock Hill team. Then the following week went down to Summerville and nocked them out. They finally lost in the upperstate championship to byrnes. That 3-8 team was 1 game away from playing for a state title. if they were in N.C. they would have a title!! So i say keep playing the liiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttllllllllle 2A/3A teams we have down this way because that will be the only way to get a win in S.C.!!:D

Best way to prove your fantasy is to actually play. Again... Week 5 available. Palmieri would love to see the powerful Vikings come to town. Let me know when we can get that contact info so we can get that game going. More blabber....

Somebody has to play Dillon because you guys certainly won't play them. We believe in the What have you done lately in NC, which Spartanburg is all talk and no action. You went down to Summerville and got your overrated team smashed. Who and the Hell brags about a Championship they won in 1932? ...LMAO! Nobody on this board was alive.

Like i said next year i will personally invite the 2A playing Mallard Creek tykes down to Gibbs Stadium for a home cooking @$$ whooping!!;)

Spartanburg won the Div II State Championship in 2014 and Mallard Creek won a title also. Can anybody on this board tell me why Mallard Creek went running to a byrnes team who's on their way down instead of stepping up to the plate and playing the Vikings? And then y'all showed just how OVERRATED giving up 3 tds in 1qtr. That was just down right pitiful!! Y'all wanted no part of Feaster and crew!!;)

Actually that is false. They have been contacted and never returned call. There is not a school on the East Coast that doesn't know that MC has been desperately trying to find games the last two years. Spartanburg included.

Very few fans who have posted in this thread are Mallard Creek fans (myself included). So why does a coach that leaves a program ever come back to it? If it was such a great job all along, then why leave it to begin with?

Is spartanburg open week 5? If so, they should contact MC. Butler, Byrnes, South Pointe, and Dillon....That list of schools proves the creek doesn't duck anyone.

The year Dutch Fork won the state title and the year after, the DF HC told me that he had communicated with MC about a potential game and it did not work out. Said MC was the one calling him for a game. So the defending 4A state champ, which was expected to be better in 2014, got a call but now we think MC was afraid to play Spartanburg. Really?!?

Byrnes has went after out of state games since the early 2000's. Great booster club and community support that made sure they could financially bring teams in or go on the road. Byrnes was and is the "name" program in SC. Spartanburg has had two impressive seasons in the last 12-14. 2015 was not impressive and I am sure many in Spartanburg are still shaking their heads about the two losses. Sparty has to beat Byrnes a few more years and win a couple of state title before people will look at them as the national face of SC football.
 
What date does week 5 fall on? Not sure if MC is willing to come to Atlanta. But my superintendent's brother is a HC here and he says he's intrigued by MC

Just to give you a bit of a lesson on Max Preps they rely on regional football minds like many on this board to not only get schedules but post player profiles with Height/Weight and stats. It is an Organic site but a good one. Schedules change all the time even after they are posted.
 
To travel to Atlanta I would think it needs to meet one of two criteria, either cover the cost and possibly pay them some money or be a big name team.

Funny we didn't hear any of this 4-5 weeks ago.

We have a week open. Its week 5. Get your AD or HC to agree to play. If not?? Then its just blabber

Never happen.. This guy doesn't have any connections with that program other than he gets drunk and starts posting . At this point I can 100% assure you Spartanburg along with any name program in SC has been contacted. This guy is just lonely and bored with nothing better to do.

For an elite team the Spartanburg non region schedule is disappointing. Three of the teams were 500 or below last season.

Summerville is not the team of yesteryear. Was surprised they lost to Providence last season but as the season played out realized neither team was very good. Hanna is average but you get to see the legend, Radio. Union is another team that has lost the luster. Do not think they have had a winning record in a few seasons. May be this is the year Taneyhill turns it around.

Etowah has been solid but usually gets rocked in the GA playoffs although they hit some good competition. Northwestern should be solid.

Not sure if the Northwestern or Union is week five in NC.

By the way..you mentioned not being able to handle Feaster. Is that the same kid that got like 2 yards rushing in the Shrine Bowl?? He might have been the 6th best RB in NC last year...lol
