Sigh. I guess that's a positive way to look at it. But in this particular case, or three cases, it seems such an easy fix if it's as simple as an AD submitting stats. Those 2 rushing seasons would be some of the best ever. And the coaching one even moreso. I'm frustrated more for those kids.

I dont mind coach Angle cleaning house. A lot time new coaches dont get to bring in a lot guys in so if he bring guys he wants in and they do. I think its a good thing like the ole saying goes, out wit the old and in with the new.

In order for Vale to grow the City of Lincolnton will need to grow first, which I believe is going to happen whether we like it or not. There is talk of a new school being built in the Denver area to relieve some pressure from North and East and to prevent East from moving to 4A. 5 high schools in the county would not be good for athletic success, in my opinion.
Where would that High school be located? could they just redo the district lines seem like Lincolnton n West arent growing as fast as NL/EL areas are.
Redrawing lines makes the most sense, doesn't it? Unfortunately that is just simply not going to happen.

I never realized until I moved to Conover that - Maiden, Bandys and such were this far up close to Newton-Conover District
Bandy come close to Newton but just to West n south ; Maiden there like part that is a Inbetween to Conover, Maiden n prob bandy so u prob choice where you can go.
I know for a fact there some blue devils that should be Red Devils n vise versa
Usually that’s right - Most district want new schools but my thing is some district take forever and some don’t on getting a new school.
Lincolnton remind of Cabarrus county somewhat bc tbh if they just redo their line they wouldn’t have 8-10 HS imo
Also I don’t get why they just don’t add onto school bc I remember a few year back I wanna say it was Rock Hill HS in SC - They added on to their existing school n they went from 1800 student cap to 2400 student cap
Lincolnton is a great place to live and raise a family, but I believe if a really large upscale neighborhood(s) was built within the Lincolnton school district those with the say so who are not from Lincolnton or have no connection to Lincolnton high school and those who dislike town for other reasons, and that is nearly all of them, would see to it that these students from such a neighborhood would be required to attend East or North then West, in that order.
I'm afraid you are right. You left out the public-funded private school just outside town. They'll build a dome over there soon, to go with all those other expensive trimmings.
So if I get what y’all saying most of the schools in Lincolnton make sure they don’t go there to Lincolnton …..
They drew the lines, it seems, to accommodate vocal parents with economic clout. Then, they redrew them when some got left out... Couldn't have our darlings mixing with the wrong kind of people, you know. And don't they deserve the glitter of the new school, after all?
Personally, I chalk it up as their loss. I can't think of anything I'd rather be than a Wolf. Athletically, academically, socially ... We win.

I wonder if they would build a new high school . Would it be NE Lincoln high? I doubt they build a new school since students already take online classes .

Me, too. But we only use directionals.
Pumpkin Center is a great community, but the powers were determined that their new showpiece couldn't be named so colloquially. It became North, instead.

Well the Wolves hired a good young coach . Not sure what to think about some things published on here about veteran coaches . Can’t imagine Maiden back in the Frank Synder days canning Tom Brown or Fred Byrne for wanting to help. In my opinion . It is hard to find coaches period. At any rate , the new season is here and it is won in the weight room and spring ball .

East Lincoln is about at capacity. There seems to be two options which include redrawing lines, or building another school. I do not believe there will be much support for another public school to be built, but I am sure our state legislator will find the monies for a charter to be built.

Personally, I'm fine with adding on to East. Or building Old Plank High. As long as they don't find a route to keep strangling us. Some developer should erect a golden floating school on the water. It seems to catch them by surprise, despite every farm turning into 600 home developments

How so? I mean it would take from NL/EL so i dont see how it would have a effect on Lincolnton esp if if its in Denver which is 16.5 ish miles away
Could tell you one solution but I don't think it's possible because of county lines not being able to be crossed. At some point bandy high school will be replaced.. probably with the school out towards sherrills Ford, now Denver and that far corner Lincoln ain't that far away. If it was possible across county lines they could build a big school out in sherrills Ford and bring some of the kids from Lincoln County area over
Why would they move Bandy to Sherrill ford I mean that have lesser students go to Bandys imo unless they get a bigger area
I was thinking the same thing. That is where the growth is happening on both sides of the county line. The Little Mountain Bootleggers, maybe?
Once a new school is built the powers that he will make it accessible for those within city limits/our district who wish to attend. That is what happened when North was built. Last year I was going for a drive around town and noticed numerous “WLHS Class of____” and “NLHS Class of____” signs in yards that are a hop and a skip from Lincolnton High School.
Truth. In effect, they fuel a misinformation campaign started by those who demanded access to the shiny school. Realtors use it to this day to sell houses. Sadly, from my experience, the "flight" to those schools, and the publicly funded private school have roots in racism. They used veiled language...gangs, "inner city", etc...to paint a completely inaccurate picture. It doesn't matter that their position is wrong. Then the powers that be cater to the ridiculous idea by finding ways to help them escape the actual jewel of their system.
Our county administration sit and cheer as one band plays Dixie over and over, and students wave Confederate Flags that they've packed into the stadium.
It's a sad reality that the lies have worked.
