This was the first time all season, Rams scored more points in second half than in first half.
Their 35 points in second half against WRH was easily most. They had scored only 20 points in fourth quarter in first 7 games, had 21 in fourth vs WRH.
For season, Reidsville has scored 411 points (51.4 ppg), opponents 43.

You guys need to come to Northeastern or even Currituck. Plus our pregame atmosphere is really good. The announcers, the music, the entrance by our team with all the smoke. It's pretty fun. Of course we don't have any state titles, but our field is very nice and the conditions outside the track and fence are very nice as well. We have good grounds keepers that for sure. Even our flag poles are nice 😂😂

Glad to see Goob,ottis, and old dog 79 and others at short sugars tonight. They love their football. Wonder what their reactions were to out running game while we had a down game throwing the ball. Pinnix missed couple throws or late on a couple I know he wants back.

I enjoyed it. Long drive. I struggled the last 50 miles. Only having 3 hours of sleep made it difficult. Remember what they say about most wrecks being within a mile or 2 of home? I dozed off about 3/4 a mile from the house and caught myself before going off the road. But Reidsville looked as good as advertised. That offensive line I thought took its toll on Wallace and in the 2nd half it showed. #20 just kept pounding. They didn't have to do anything cute. WRH played hard and they made some big hits on him but it just kept adding up. I was leaving just as they threw the long pass to Breon so I stopped and watched that score. Stadium is nice. Hard to complain about the facilities because it's been there a while. I like the tradition feel over a big new stadium. I hope #50 will be healthy for you next week. He is a beast on defense. #15 the freshman looked good. I don't see a drop off coming. I'm jealous of both teams. Hopefully we can get there to compete with both of these programs here at West Craven.
Short Sugars was nice. I got 2 bbq sandwiches with slaw. I ate 1 before the game and was going to bring the other one home. It didn't make it! Not in the bag anyway. My plan is to be back next Friday. I've got to get up and start stirring. I may make it to Hertford today. Football in the 🌧️ yeaaaaaaa

I’m very disappointed at the way WRH coaches was talking trash to the Reidsville kids. Very unprofessional And sets a bad example. Kids said they said some very disappointing things to them. Especially at #1 Pass.

If you have a defense that can double Pass and still stop the run you may have a fighting chance against Reidsville. Not sure any team has that. I don't think there is a better high school coach in the state than Teague

I agree with you. But also be aware when doubling pass the other wr can hurt you. It didn’t really show last night though.

Need to work hard on developing some sort of passing game no matter how great the RBs (and they are both excellent). When your leading receiver is on the other team, that's a problem.

I think it was surprising because it’s a program with such success. I’ve been to worse but I was very surprised at the shape the facility was in. The visitor’s side had more trash than our local landfill. It was just surprising.

I was at the game but I didn't see any of this as I left a little early. But let me say this since I have been to a few WRH games over the past 5 years. I have sat with Coach Motsinger's Mother and Father and I have observed a lot of interaction of Kevin Motsinger around other coaches and teams in the heat of battle. You could never make me believe what is being said here. I don't doubt players may have been trash talking but I do not believe Coach Motsinger was trash talking to kids or his staff. If West Craven ever found itself in need of a coach Motsinger would certainly be in my top 2 choices.

A lot of tradition there. You see it when you walk in. I took a picture of the board listing all the Championships and put on my facebook. It's hard to beat tradition. Coach Moore is trying to build his own tradition at Northeastern. He is doing a great job too. I liked what I saw of his play calling. Today it was a good mixture of run and pass. Hard to predict just what the next play might be. Twice they have fallen to Reidsville. Will the 3rd time be the charm? Certainly going to be a great game. From what I have seen in eastern football this year the right 2 teams will be playing for the Eastern finals.
