ER @ MA

Question for MA fans.......

Is #4 getting any looks from anyone? With all the talk about Mason (and rightfully so), this guy looks pretty impressive in his own right.
A bunch of the sophomores are getting a lot of looks. A big group went to a camp at NC State and #22 made the biggest impression and the kept his information. He is an absolute stud as outside LB, super fast and strong. Like I said has potential to be better than Dandy and will be running back with #4 next year. The sophomore who may get the most looks is our number #71 the nose tackle. He absolutely clogs the middle and it usually takes at least two blockers to try to move him and most of the time that doesn’t work and opens it up for everyone to rush. One reason why it is so hard to run against us. Sorry you can’t make it to game Chute

Yeah, #71 is a seriously strong looking kid. When I saw him on highlights, I was thinking that he would make a great powerlifter if his football career doesn't pan out. I'd like to see him try his hand at the Atlas Stones.

I have a beautiful Wife for the hugs but thanks for the gesture! I shake RE s hand every time I greet him as he is a true Gentlemen!

Stroup has an offer from Presbyterian. Lots of conversation with Duke but since he does not get to kick many field goals they are not sure.
Fair amount of D2 interest is my understanding.
At a big big risk I am going say what is his biggest issue in being recruited as WR or DB: skin color.
I am the last person earth to be considered a racist. But after several conversations with college coaches, they do not come right out and say it, but it is there.

MA reminds me of Tarboro’s 17&18 team the roster stacked with athletes

Ain’t what I asked you but ok…
Zero is the correct answer.
Only one in baseball and one in softball…
All at 3A level.
Two in football as well…
However the thought of playing Eastern Randolph for some reason has an effect on you personally…
We can hear your sphincter tightening all the way in Ramseur…
Take a chill pill. It’s Thanksgiving. Enjoy your family. The teenagers will decide on Friday whether you can enjoy Saturday or not…

Last year #25 was the difference getting those tough inside zone runs. He excelled in the 4th quarter as ER showed signs of fatigue. Hope he's ready on Friday.

I like you as a contributor on here..
I am still flabbergasted by the perception of ER being fatigued last year?
As I have said many times it’s each person’s perspective I guess.
Not trying to start anything just know from most poster’s from Mt Airy that’s how they thought things played out.
It’s interesting to me…

You know that I try my best not to overstate my thoughts, and maybe if it was not fatigue on ER’s line, maybe it was that Mt Airy just reached down and found another gear. I am not sure which something changed in Mt Airy from top to bottom in that game for the Bears.

This is absolutely no disrespect ER but those of us in the stands saw, even felt it.
You know I have said several times on here I felt that game was the State Championship Game at least for Mt. Airy.

Maybe we are describing it incorrectly.

You are not describing it incorrectly sir just from your(and the visiting crowd’s) point of view. ER side saw their “leader” on both sides of the ball exit field of play. That’s the narrative I hear from Eastern Randolph supporters. “We were ahead until Devonte went out”
It’s like, to me, seeing a car accident and each “truth” told by eyewitnesses, while in their hearts is exactly what they saw, is different.
That’s why I think it’s interesting.

I agree a lot of regional finals are just as tough as the championship games and in some cases the matchups are better

Comparing the teams I'll predict MA by 21. Somebody has to throw a number out there. I get this by comparing scores. West Stokes beat SWR in the playoffs (ER beat them 42-0) and West lost to Randleman 14-7. ER beat Randleman by 2 in a game in the twenties. MA would beat West Stokes with running clock. Alright Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Ooh ooh let me play.
Starmount beat Trinity 43-30.
Mt Airy beat Starmount 47-15.
ER beat Trinity 48-0.

Dang now I forgot what my point was…
Oh yeah…
Maybe ER would have put running clock on Starmount?
Sorry Deana…
I’m just playing around because storm came up and couldn’t get in tree..😂

Injuries is part of the game and all teams deal with them. But playing in 1st and second round of the playoffs without starters is not exactly the same as a regional final.

I thought I might get a response. Score comparisons is almost as much fun as watching wheel of fortune. It's about matchups and preparation a lot of times when you get to 4th round. All four teams are good

Sometimes a team is good enough that when there leader goes out the others step up that's the difference in a good team y'all last year and a great team MA last year.
Buzz, get someone from another school teach you the difference between "there" and "their". It's clear they don't cover that at MA.

Brooks leaving the game was a definite blow for ER. But the LBs and Safety were missing tackles that they were making earlier. MA was very fortunate to win that game. Both teams left everything on the field. Good luck in the "tree ".
