I ask because that could be a great matchup to watch between him and Dandy. Two Power 5 players going at it on the line of scrimmage.
For those that don’t know who I’m talking about it’s Jani Norwood and Deric Dandy. Norwood is committed to UNC and Dandy & Tyler Mason are committed to Virginia Tech.

And for all the people talking about keeping Dandy out of backfield, the other end is a sophomore named DJ Joyce and he is the kid that went in and replaced dandy in championship last year and was amazing and a big part of our win. So now he is on other side and may have the chance to be better than dandy before his career is over. And of course the big guy Floyd in the middle is also someone to deal with. We are not just dandy on defense
Well the friendly rivalry went out the door this morning. It’ll be an honor to just be allowed on the field up there and fall on our swords it sounds like.
MA did win a state title in basketball in 2001. Won several in baseball and many many more in other sports. JS!
No one from MA has had anything but respect for ER and give them props all season! Have we not said this will be best team we have played. Can we not brag on our boys a little. Its 4th round you don't get here unless you are good. My comment about #3 was not a crack at saying without him yall were not good......its like you take #5 off MA and they are different. Just look at #3 for y'all come on kid is a stud and sometimes you don't replace that caliper player. I was bragging on him not putting ER down and I apologize if it came of that way......that tends to happen in a text or message board.

I've watched Reidsville and Mt Airy and the difference on defense is Mt Airy team defense. The line and linebackers are very aggressive.
This will be the best team MA has faced this year but it will also be the best team ER has faced also
I’m sure you’re probably correct We will know more late Friday night. Eastern Alamance, who beat both ER and Reidsville, is the best so far.

Going to hang out fifteen feet in a tree until dark then listen to it. I enjoy the banter, somewhat, but as I have said before my baby boy is now a college graduate and no longer have kinfolk involved.
Even the players are little brothers of siblings I may or may not have coached.

I hope Mt Airys field drains good. Don’t want it slowing them down like ours did last year. Would like to get the full experience if we gotta play.

Wow are you guys sensitive? I thought smc boys were bad! No one from MA has given anyone from ER disrespect! Have done nothing but brag on your team and yes #3 we have said he is that good and a stud. As for out Video scoreboard we are very very proud to have it along with 2 fieldhouses and just a great facility. MA will be a great atmosphere Friday night with many cow bells ringing. Everyone calls us Mount Arrogant and chest thumpers......we are a proud bunch and our kids and school are blessed to have the community support in donations and fan base that they have! MA on that helmet means something to us especially those of us that wore the helmet at one time. Tradition is strong at MA! Kidd I think you are a respectful guy and honestly there has been no bad feelings toward ER and there fans. So go ahead and joke it up its ok. Gobble Gobble.....Go Bears!!!
Buzz we’re not sensitive we’re just playing around and having a laugh. It’s all in good fun. The kids will decide what happens Friday night. Now when the team read what you said about #3 I didn’t see a lot of laughing but us guys here on the message boards; we are just cutting up.
The one thing I have seen in the playoffs is how the refs are calling the PF for celebrating. I watched Mount Tabor against Mooresville and it seemed like Mooresville celebrated after every play with no flag. #66 for the Bears got a costly penalty on a sack that looked cheap from my view point but things could have been said. I know Coach Adkins had a long talk with him probably telling him in a close game could really be costly.

It’s all out of fun. Anyone from Randolph County that pulls for ER can’t be too sensitive as we are the most hated in the county and have to hear the same whining and complaining year in and year out. I have nothing but respect for MA as the fans and players last year was very respectful to us.
I can't believe you all are the most hated. Does winning cause that?
If Tarboro wasn't playing, I'd definitely travel up to Mt Airy to watch this one. Should be a dog fight.
