Rematch of 2 old playoff foes. Elkin rolled 41-13 last year in the playoffs but this is a new year. What is everyones thoughts?

Andrew's is much better this year and they are good vs the run. Not so vs the pass. I think Elkin is the favorite.

Elkin I think returned most of their squad from last year...Elkin wins.
Elkin by a score or two. Dont think the cats have enough offensive firepower to pull off the victory.
Elkin has NFHS network. Also I saw that 3WC Radio will be broadcasting the game on 12403wc.com.

Hayesville still butt hurt because of the butt kicking we gave them. I recall them saying they would have something to say about who won 3rd place in conference. Andrews is still playing and they are home. Why throw when you can run and it makes for great play action.
Not butt hurt at all. If we were we would whine about all the transfers will lost(like you have many times). For the record not only did we score on Robbinsville but also lead them(briefly). My comment was about how I see the game play out.
When Hayesville gets on Andrews level, let us know.

When Elkin actually plays they are good. The last 2 games of the season against West & East they did not play well. They shot the score up late in the game. They only led West 6-0 at half and East was within a score early in the 4th. If they had been playing anybody but the 2 youngest teams in the league it may have been different.
Andrews and TJ might win those games tomorrow. IMO, those are the 2 most competitive games in the 1a west bracket.
Why can't fellow SMC folks just root for the conference teams? Never understand this. As much as I despise certain teams, come playoff time, I'm rooting for them to represent SMC in all sports.
