End of the day Kings mountain has been the only team in Cleveland county to always come up short when the games get bigger. You could see it coming after last week. They don't do well on a big stage.
East Lincoln been underestimated all season in a bad conference this team is very good. Good luck to the South Point fans coming to east Lincoln yal will have to bring yals best game all season.

If it makes kings mountain feel any better, in 2003 we too (Asheville) were ranked number 1 in the state and we too were undefeated at 13-0 and we got our ass kicked by 47 points in the western semifinal lol. So we feel your pain
That’s why the video says KMHS Sports and not ESPN, FOX SPORTS, NCHSAA or whatever else. I’m not a KM fan obviously but I don’t mind them being homers considering it’s for KM fans. That being said I’d prefer a more honest assessment if SP were to do something similar.
You are exactly right..2 of the guys have kids on the team. I wouldn’t expect them to do anything else but cheer on KM as they commentate..it’s what make HS Football so great
Cheering for KM and being obnoxious are totally different. I have zero issues with hometown announcers giving a commentary edge for their side. But when it becomes whining on every flag and whoa is us the officials rode the visitors bus it becomes hard to listen to.
Exactly it’s an awesome thing for them to do, but at the end of the day you want people to be able to watch. If they want to cheer on the team etc but don’t turn it into a pour pitiful me thing. I turned it on at the end of the WC game and it was horrendous to be honest.
Regarding the officials, I’m a firm believer in you get some calls and lose some calls. I will say that KM was less than breaking even last night on calls, not that it would have changed the outcome.
It's none of my business, and this will probably not be a popular opinion...but it might be time to seriously consider changing some things on the side line after all these years of disappointment...I just know how I would feel...being a player, fan, or parent after so many, many, many years. But I'll shut up.

Agree !!!! KTC always has homers calling all games but these guys are way way more objective. I would only listen when the burns game went to commercial but after a few minutes never cut the sound back up....anyway good season KM.

As i stated before the playoffs began Space Mountain was overrated. My falcons may not win it all who knows, but the mountaineers of space mountain were overrated and I am even more convince now they wouldn't be able to contain 71st. East Lincoln did nothing fancy just lined up and punched them in the mouth and they folded.

East Lincoln looked so well coached against KM..I don’t no what part Matt Beam plays with EL but you can definitely see his touch..
He can’t come coach in Cleveland County anymore. That’s tough. He’s a heck of a coach. He talks it and then walks it.
They buried both cleats in that KM defense.
