Interesting commentary on the broadcast. Robeson county schools have open enrollment. Are the addresses for their players included on Maxpreps or included on the rosters given to the announcers?

It was a good game to listen too. Close until the final few minutes. Losing sucks in any game.
Similar to last defensive drive vs Ledford not a fan of simply giving up sounds like minimum effort given on that last SP touchdown
Ashame one of these teams had to lose. These are two very good teams. Blake Smith is a very good qb and those two running backs for St Paul’s are no joke. Both teams are far better than I thought. Tough loss but St Paul’s may just be the most underrated team in the East.

It's tough finding the leadership(players). It happened to us a couple years ago. Tough motivating some years. Clinton will recover this year I think.
Congrats to St.Pauls not to be premature but looks like they just won the conference championship. For Clinton offensively loved the fight we didn’t give up but this team just doesn’t have it defensively to go against any good team. So i think we win out make the playoffs but i don’t see anything beyond 1st or 2nd round we will be a low seed have a chance to perhaps spoil someone’s party but not in the category with Northeastern,Wallace,St Paul’s,Princeton,or Whiteville this season. Just the facts
It’s public knowledge. It wasn’t a shot at St. Paul’s, just saying this county is an open enrollment county. If you live outside Clinton city school district you can’t go to Clinton you have to go to that county school. #5 for St. Paul’s was one of Red springs best players last year.

Gotta have a defense in this football environment just have to in particular running defense we just don’t have it this year. Offense we can bother some teams to the point we could sneak past someone first round but I just don’t see us going beyond that if that. We are extremely young on that side of the ball so hopefully next year it’s better but it sucks with so much experience and talent on offensive side of the ball a lot of those seniors will be gone.

Understand. I would only question why mention that at all. Do other broadcasters also bring that fact up anytime a Robeson county team takes part in any sport? I will check with the WRH radio announcers and see if it was mentioned in the spring when WRH played Red Springs in the playoffs.
I enjoy your broadcasts when I have the opportunity to listen and no doubt you guys do a great job.

Yes sir the East is up for grabs. There will be no easy outs come playoff time. I think whoever comes out of the East will have a good shot to win the state championship
At this point in the season I think you are what you are. You knew you had issues tackling weeks ago it showed up lil by lil in early games no big deal cause it’s lesser team and your blowing them out…..showed up heavy vs Ledford….it’s not better now it’s not getting any better it is what it is…..6’0 215 pound RB and your tackling him up high
And i apologize if I seem alil frustrated I had high expectations for this team with what we returned on the offensive side of the ball didn’t think defense would hold us back this much but wow….Clinton has went up against a lot of great RBs in the past i don’t think I ever seen a Clinton defense give up over 400 yards to 1 player. SMH back to the drawing board I guess. Still games to be played but this one stings
Missed tackles, and not playing all plays out. Clinton could have won that game but a Team effort wasn't there on some plays. Sounded like that to me. Clinton got time to gel.
Getting “Wrecking Ball” on the ground… is gonna be problem for all teams! At the very least ….y’all have seen him now!

Yeah it’s probably not as bad as I’m making it out to be i think about the 2 missed opportunities in the 1st half especially the fumble right at the 2 then fighting to a 38-34 lead and just can’t get that one stop that could probably win the game. Same story as the Ledford game just need to make the one or 2 plays and perhaps it’s a different outcome……by no means is this a bad team but at this point you can’t put them in with the top tier teams already mentioned….we can very well catch someone slipping tho who knows
Blake Smith and Jaekwon Wilson had great games tonight seniors really made a lot of key plays when we needed them.
Was a great game to listen to and great job on the announcers keeping up with the flow of the game. Listeners need stats like score, time, down and distance, etc. Great job. The comeback was awesome but I think the nail was the interception because that seemed to take all the wind from the Darkhorse sails. Surprised with the Clinton defense though, usually a very strong unit but I’m sure y’all will get it worked out. Best of luck rest of the season!
It hasn’t been that strong last 2 seasons(Spring). I think we finally have the balance on offense we wished we had 2014-2016 but defense just not up to par. One trait of good Clinton teams is a stout defense ….just not there this season
I been wrong before tho 2015 I didn’t think we had the team to make it out the 1st or 2nd round…..ended up winning a Eastern Championship before refs stepped in lol(Clockgate at Bunn)
Thanks for all the kind words about the game announcers. I am one of them and Ron and myself have been at this 17+ years. It’s a fun time and we appreciate all the feedback you guys provide us. We try and stay energetic, and while biased try to give credit where credit is due. St. Paul’s has the offense to win a championship, if they tighten up their defense they might be playing in there second straight state championship.
St Paul’s may be the best team in the East, Clinton shouldn’t hang their heads. I know NE defense couldn’t have stopped those backs.
We played some talented backs….the last 10 years I’ll say the 2 toughest we faced have been Farrell Murchison from East Bladen and Javonte Williams from Wallace….now add Kamarion Baldwin to that list…..and we gotta see him again next season 😔
You should have been there. Though we lost its an instant classic. Shame it wasn't on NFHS
damn, I wish you hadn't said another season, 34; I can go back 45 years. I've never seen a running back do what Baldwin did to the DrkHorses, and I'll acknowledge his teammates (as he did) but it was all him!
