Glad to see Mauney run more. He keeps that up, and the offense will be fine. Defense played OK against a tough SP offense. SP didn't look as good as I thought they would. But you know they'll get it going by year's end.
We got Stuart Cramer Friday so I’m hoping they forget everything they saw tonight. Doubt they see it again this year. I knew the play calling would be simple as it should be in the jamboree but I thought the offense looked good. Defense is so hard to tell. Red Bone is tough and we are young on D but overall no points allowed. I’ll take it.
Kenyon Surratt is going to be special! Just a freshman but you could see it…

Farmer has a Canon for an arm! Athletes everywhere on offense but we can’t stop a nosebleed on defense again … 77 didn’t play but run defense was decent gave up big plays on offense in the air ! … they’ll get it together though..:I think it’s going to be a good season for all county teams

side note why is it every time I go to McDonald’s for my yougin the line comes to a complete stop and the car in front takes twenty seven minutes to order ! I’m old it’s my bedtime dang it

After watching all the Cleveland County football teams tonight my opinion is Burns look the best overall.
Tough to tell with matchups. I was definitely happy with our offense. I wasn’t disappointed in our D but I can’t wait to see us against a team that will spread it out. I didn’t see KM play the whole game.
I thought Crest had athletes all over. QB for Crest is a total athlete but it looked like he tried rolling out a little too quick. Almost panicked at times when he had time. With that said it’s the first scrimmage of the year and he’s a playmaker all day. Didn’t see Shelby.

KM looked okay we are trying to figure out who our QB is going to be we had 3 rotating in tonight so it’s hard to get in a rhythm but like you said just a scrimmage
Among County teams I thought KM’s line play was the best on both sides..I think everyone else’s line play is a step behind KM’s at this time
Glad to see you guys humble all of a sudden. I missed the first quarter,.but I saw the second quarter, and Crest looked shockingly bad, in my opinion. Could get ugly next week. I’m not trolling, just calling it as I saw it. Shelby’s offense has potential. Defense was pathetic, though. Burns looked good. Mauney and Norris were impressive. I missed KM.
* I don’t care what any of you Crest posters say. You guys were not expecting that. Good thing it was just a scrimmage.
I finished my sentence too soon. I didn’t see KM play the whole game. I got a little bit of live on FB. Up front KM wasn’t bad but working in 3 QBs is tough to get a feel on.
KM- OL looked good. DL fast. 3 different QBs with 3 different traits. Defense good on the run. Had trouble in secondary with the pass.
Burns- hard working OL and DL. Good run game. Not real sure on the pass game. Like above, QB1 did good knowing when to tuck it and go.
Crest- I think they ran like 4 different plays so hard to tell on the skilled play. Most of the OL young and need to get that fixed. Defense is fast. DL small but faster. QB1 needs to calm a bit. Didn’t stay for Shelby. Considering they just started full pads and first scrimmage I like what I see in the county. Red raiders looked smaller this year all around.

In my opinion one QB stood out tonight out of the 3 but we will see how he does in Gaffney on Friday night.
I thought Burns offensive looked really good and the Defense played well. I think we will hear Mauney and Norris name a lot this year.

He must’ve had a big first quarter. He did nothing in the second quarter, the quarter I saw. I love his game, though. Monroe had some headhunters in that secondary. Their safety has some big time offers from what I was told from one of their fans.
I think he was referring to one of the three KM QBs not Crest.
My thoughts which wouldnt get as the geezers say a cup of coffee or something
KM: Big huge and athletic all over the place, me and Rulz glanced at each other like DANG...
QB: To me 14 gives them the best chance of success ( just from what I saw which means nothing) He can scramble and has a pretty lively arm: The line play on both sides is something... On the stretch plays however those guards have GOT to get outside faster the backs were passed them most of the time..... 10 at QB got sacked several times,, held it too long, didnt really see 12 much maybe a series...That defense is nasty,, when the 1's were in there AC went backwards.... AC is always such a scrappy bunch,I really dig that program, always just plays well, in every aspect
Burns: Looked good overall, they have some athletes, 11 Dover that was a little league QB a lineman last year and a Linebacker this year stood out to me on defense.... He was hitting HARD.... Mauney is Mauney good runs tonight, a couple good passes,, they looked the most poised overall of any of them to me....
Crest: Face it that offense is going to be explosive, and Ill say it, they faced probably the most athletic overall team there tonight... Monroe rushed three all night and got pressure a bunch on tater... Speaking of tater, his passes look much more crisp to me, they will be fine, they played probably one of the top 2a teams in the state this year, Monroe is going to go FAR...... Big man 56 on the Oline is just a monster, you can tell Monte is just a grown man out there.... Crest will be fine they are going to score a BUNCH of points...
Shelby: Offensively should be explosive this season there is some speed on that offense and this new kid Farmer has an absolute arm.. first play from scrimmage he launches one (Shoulda been a td, but 6 fell) Kid is going to have some growing pains this year of course being his first year, but he will leave one of if not the all time passing leader for Shelby before its said and done.. Looking for big things out of him... 77 didnt play like I said earlier... the defensive line is good, but we are small from there back... We have GOT to stay healthy... We will take a lump or two along the way, but something tells me, this team could go a good way this year... we shall see but I like what I saw (cept for two or three or twenty severn plays) Again starters have to stay healthy
Fun scrimmage, saw some wonderful folks, that I enjoy seeing LA, Rulz, Sausage, Shelbyfan1, 65Lion and others... I love football, the end.....
Oh yeah finally got out of the line at McDonalds like 25 minutes after I posted my last, daughter was happy but she made me leave early, I almost made her walk to the North End
