Just a few summer updates from some things I've seen. Maidens quarterback ran a 4.44 shuttle at camp the other day. And an upcoming freshman from Maiden Middle School drop some pancakes at camp 🤣🤣
No I think this team's going to be a little darker and grittier think more like rated R Batman compared to PG Superman 🤣🤣
Next step: Stop by the kiosk at TB stadium to pick up your "welcome to Maiden" package

New coach at Lincolnton seems to be starting out on all cylinders.
It’s good when Lincolnton is good bc it makes Lincolnton county one of the stronger county in NC as WL has improved , NL is still solid , EL is one of the best programs rn and Lincolnton if they get back to somewhat back to their old glory days it’s just good for the county n Conference

School districts in Catawba county are really weird. Maiden school district southern end cross's into Lincoln county and it's most northern limit goes up to I-40 fairgrove ch Rd. And to the west almost to Fred t Foard high school
School Districts here are baffling, as well, as documented on a number of pages of this thread.
I find it funnt how FTF is consider newton but doesnt even draw much from newton - i would say the most kids prob comes from Propst crossroad or Mtn view. Most of FTF area they draw from is rural
Also in Catawba county u have N-C City schools, Hickory city schools and then the county schools so u have 3 different districts within Catawba co and doesnt part of Burke co also comes into far western part of Catawba county near the airport i believe
I was more amazed the maiden district lines went all the way up to I-40 and hickory motor speedway area
Some of the district lines are odd like right off Highway 10 where i am u can go like 2-3 miles and be in Bandys district then or Bunker Hill districts then or N-C District its crazy to me
I am curious what St stepehen draws from bc i would think they get some talent as hickory is their own system

Its just I dont understand the district lines tbh they are all over the place, I thought Iredell-Statesville District lines were jacked up bc ISS IS horrible bc they dont enforce the district lines sometimes so and they have like slivers of area go to one school n then other go to another
The talented ones end up in hickory because the school districts aren't gonna enforce against each other
