Chambers had 1 big play n that was it . CG made more plays and they did what they had to do and chambers couldn’t do anything
More prepared period, let's not forget they have had the share of bad snaps and mistakes though.
it is just hard to beat someone twice. Give them their credit.
Well after that 1st down, its probably safe to say. I was pulling for Chambers to win it for the West, but congrats to Cardinal Gibbons. Homefield helped, the weather helped, but they played great defense and made more plays on offense. Deserved 4A Championship.

exactly how much was the home field advantage. If you re going to give them credit then give them credit.. It would have nice to see a three peat but you have to win on the field. I give one thing to Gibbons they created a tough schedule and it helped when it counted. .
What happened to the ALL POWERFUL. Chambers football team , they absolutely got whooped by a better football team , offense shut out , Lol ,, Like they said in the movie they left no doubt…..

I mean, the school is like 2000 feet from Carter Finley or something. The football team and fans walked to the game today.

That is second time you had a backhanded compliment.. SMH. do you want to share how much of an advantage that is.. Games are won on the field and I certianly thought Chambers was going to win and think they have a great staff...but it was not their day.
I’m not making excuses because your right you win the game on the field period end of story but Things do play factors I mean They are right down the road so they prob had more fans, they prob Relaxed and chilled before the game and etc where chambers your driving 2-3 hours on a bus and may not as many fans and etc so Home Field Advantage does have some affect but not all the time but in AZ some teams have travel 4-5 hours and that can take its toll on players
Yeah, I actually think it played a big role in keeping the CG players juiced up enough to keep momentum.
Sounds like an excuse.. all those things only matter in the mind of fans.. when you are playing I don't think so. Wnen you are in a big stadium with no so many fans.... it hardly matters..
Playing close to home helps for certain. I wouldn’t put much into crowd factor since they are both dwarfed in CF.
I know for sure I am not making an excuse on behalf of anyone. I had no horse in this race. But, I think these little things do make a difference in the game. Just calling it how i saw it.

Huge congrats to CG!! I thought maybe Chambers could pull it out but everytime a door opened for Chambers CG shut it! Makes you wonder if the Hough game maybe took a little of Chamber's MOJO. Nevertheless it's a part of playoff football. Chambers still should get mad respect for what they have accomplished the last 3 years. A great effort and win for CG!!!!!
I'm a Creek guy. I know the challenges of beating a team twice. CG took their credit. Both teams played on the same field.

Whoa now, lets not get too ahead of ourselves.. Chambers is not overrated or undisciplined.... They just ran into a good team with some favorable conditions.

How? They don't change fields each possession. Both teams have to deal with the conditions, just like both teams would have to deal with the conditions if the weather was good.
Right. "I hate watching slugfests." Lol. I'm not understanding why they think that matters. The idea is to win, not entertain. If I was a coach and we were getting 4 yards a carry, I'd never pass lol.

Would anyone be in favor of going back to how state championship used to be, which was the higher seed hosting (if stadium could hold crowd being the caveat)?
I say throw them in Panther Stadium in Charlotte. Texas has 6 divisions and is able to get them all in Cowboy Stadium. Would be a great experience for the kiddos.
Panther Stadium seats I believe 75k. That wouldn’t be a good look, for around 5K fans.
