I watched the south pointe game twice. They dominated y'all. Scored more on y'all than any team they played this year. So evidently all the teams they played in SC had a better defense than y'all or this defense some are claiming is "one of your best ever" is overrated. Don't want to hear about how good sp is either cause I'm speaking about there opponents compared to Shelby this year.
You will not have success running the ball. You may break a few for some yards but you will not run with consistency on us. Your o-line is nothing like chases nor do you have a mcCombs in the backfield. As the mule said they ran McCombs until the very last play of the game. From what I've seen on film Shelby's o-line is as suspect as ours.

No doubt this is all just a sideshow but it's better than talking about liver for another 4 days.
Ain’t no Hercules coming from me. At beginning of year I thought maybe a 2nd round team. Then I thought 3rd round. Now I say 4th round. Maybe this Friday I’ll say 5th round. Our team does swarm to the ball. But anyone that predicts a blowout for either team is nuts. I doubt the outcome and way the game plays out will actually happen. Ima say game will be in the low 20’s . Take your pick.

Sorry Fact24, I just had a bad experience at Reidsville when the Wrh dogs played there. I saw a side of Reidsville that I’d heard about but actually never experienced or witnessed till I actually went there. There are some good Reidsville posters up here like yourself. We have a battle our own selves this Friday,
All the major sales happen Friday morning from 4am-8am, people be home by 3pm. All the Husbands will be busting the doors down ready to get out.
I had words with some of the Reidsville fans when I went to the concession stand. We didn’t quite see eye to eye. They approached me, I didn’t know anyone of course. I was by myself. I wanted to see how good Reidsville was because I knew we would be facing them the following week
@FACT24 we had a good time in Winston Salem. I had told you if I remember correctly that I didn’t think we would win. I also remember telling you that Northeastern would’ve beaten Salisbury. I wasn’t impressed at all by them. I remember you showing me your state championship ring and you had that jacket on.

Yea I remember is saying that was the worst team to make a finals I’d ever see. Lol. No offense at all. Nor any defense. And yea that was the one game you were actually worried about as far as winning in all the time I’ve known you. There are some pricks as we call fans for each team. Some WRH fans say behind me in state title game when we lost and they were some huge sore winners. But that’s ok. Win some and lose some. Almost all WRH fans and Ne fans have been awesome to talk with. Even the Shelby fans like Shelby lion and lion attack were cool. Watched the whole rams title game with Shelby lion
Yeah met some cool fellas from around the state over the years....Several the reidsville crowd I always look up when I go to some title games.....RamBBQ and his crowd and enjoyed talking some ball and hanging out with Fact back in 2019 watching ours then their game.....

Shelby usually commits turnovers, which they can get away with in their conference but it will come back to bite them if it happens in close games.
Exactly. It's a fourth round dream match up with the best two football programs in N.C. that does not come very often.

THERE not a terrible o-line just not the running game we had last year. Would have absolutely loved to see our big rb from last year against this Shelby front 7 to see what would happen.
She's gives it up to anybody who makes it past the last round. She prefers guys out west though.
In 13 Games, Shelby has committed 12 Turnovers (8 fumbles, 4 INT's)--In the Burns game, we had 4 turnovers ( 1 fumble, 3 INT's). In 5 of the 13 games, we had zero turnovers. So I'm not sure if that qualifies us as usually committing turnovers. The Defense has caused 25 turnovers.
Just Chopper trying to pretend or make himself believe Shelby is bad and going lose.
I’m looking forward to seeing this game in person Friday. Quite possibly the state’s two best programs, both of which we’ve had some big matchups with over the years. My senior year (2001) we played both Reidsville and Shelby in the playoffs.
Does anyone know the all time head to head record between these two? I remember a couple matchups. Saw them play in the championship game around 2007 maybe? And I know they met several years ago possibly back to back years in the playoffs.

#4 Reidsville 12-0 (6-0) will be traveling into the Lion's Den on Friday night to take on #1 Shelby 12-1 (6-0). Will they have God's protection as Daniel did? Or have the Rams led themselves to the slaughter? There will only be one way to find out...
The two giants that normally pass through the night on opposite sides of the field have now found themselves on the same path. Your regular season performance will dictate your starting position for the playoffs, but it's how you do during the playoff race that matters...lap #4 upcoming.
It doesn't get much closer than this. I always like to look at how your playoff team is playing...not how your regular season team did. Both teams do not have a problem on offense that is certain. Both offenses have increased their PPG from the RS to the Playoffs with relatively the same competition...I argue that Reidsville has seen harder competition in the playoffs (but you would expect that the #1 seed has easier opponents...that's how the brackets work).
The key factor I see is that Shelby's defense has statistically gotten better in the playoffs while the Reidsville's defense seems to be having a harder time corralling some of the competition.
Both teams have athletes, both teams have some youth, both teams have speed, both teams have confidence.
