They are definitely not like schools in the far west. It's 30 minutes to Andrews from Robbinsville and 35 to Swain.

In PAC7 Providence Grove is within 15 minutes of Eastern Randolph…
The other five schools are between 30 and 45 minutes away…
Randolph County is a large piece of real

Looks like Mattamuskeet and Ocracoke can consolidate their high schoolers into something like Hyde County High. Just an idea.

North surry 5 miles from MA.

That's correct buzz good job. If Mount airy had everybody in their city limits they would be a 2A school. Kids that live in the city limits are in the North Surry school district. There are kids that drive through Mount airy to go to North. Which is ridiculous. I don't know why they just don't give the city limits the whole school system. Frankly it would make Mount airy even better though most of the good kids they go to North come from the city limits of Mount airy.

I am thinking that Columbia plays-eight man football just like Mattamuskeet. Can't see Mattamuskeet and Ocroacke combining. Imagaine that ferry ride to school each day!

Lol! Kids would have to ride the “school ferry” to class.

In 2014 when Robbinsville won state only 11 football schools was smaller than us. Now about 19 are smaller than us. Robbinsville has grown by 15-20 kids most schools have gotten smaller.

I was shocked to see how big Cherokee has got.

So by this Swain County will move up to 2A? If this turns out to be the new class 1A field?

Ocracoke is an island with a 2 1/2+ hour ferry ride to the mainland.
