They do have a charter school. Riverside and south Creek merged together in the off-season.
I got Tarboro winning this one big. Offense has been playing extremely well as of late. Defense starting to step up as well.

They merged athletic programs from what I hear, but the schools are still separate schools. Someone correct me if that’s wrong.
That's wild. That's a county of like $25,000 people so you would think they would be to a almost but from reading it it looks like they only have about 580 maybe
Probably rain. But the forecast I saw recently showed just a 20% chance. I'm ok with it cause I gotta work this weekend lol.

Do you guys ever get tired of beating poeple to oblivion we've been on run in the west and it seems to be not so fun anymore just asking because you guys been doing it way longer than us
It does sometimes. Now depending on who the opponent is it doesn't. At the same time though, games that result in running clocks allow second string players to get some playing time as well. And that could come in handy if a starter gets hurt in a game.
It's gotten to the point that the Vikings fans don't cheer anymore. They simply golf clap after each touchdown.
We are open this week glad we winning but dang would like to see some drama after you do it a year seems to get old running clock every week
The parents of the players get excited lol but fans who don't have any kids on the field playing it's usually golf claps. Now when the playoffs get here we jump and cheer for every big play.
Congrat Vikings. Bertie also defeated Perquimans at Perquimans. We haven’t had a home game this season as the field has been completely torn up. A new track is also being installed. Was supposed to be completed this summer in August.
You’re right though. It’s great that we always win, who doesn’t want to win, but I feel as fans we’re very blah.or even seem uninterested in most games.
Tarboro and MT Airy don't have no business playing 1A football. No disrespect.
Why? We are 1A size schools. And, the "fruit flies " Comment by crazy hill disrespects all 1a schools
Agree. And apparently this year as I. Some these schools would beat larger classification schools. There is a lot going into it mainly the side of the school. The areas they are both in just like the SMC are working class folks who are tough. Everything you think that's the common denominator in these schools that are always there. They're just tough places. The coaches are tough that makes the kids tough in the community is tough. So if it comes to a fight they're whipping your tail. I easily think tarboro Mount Airy robbinsville etc could play into a maybe 3A. But the beating they would take because of the size of their schools and the lack of depth would hurt them towards the end of the year. I think they're exactly where they should be because of the number of players they have on their teams. And the number of kids they have to choose from. What is shocking is that some of these 3A schools mainly don't have the 35 kids on their varsity. That right there shows you a lack of toughness. Soft boys don't want to come out. That's too bad. But that's how it is. I love the fact that it's a macho kick your ass sport. Everybody complains about the Smoky mountain. Being so good all the time. They're always so damn tough all the time. They win a lot of games with that over Superior talent.
Tarboro definitely should be playing 2A just for the sake of football. But they are who the numbers say they are, so it is what it is. Would be some nice games and a harder road in the playoffs, but it's not like they did so bad when they WERE 2A. Didn't get there every year, but 4 straight championship appearances ain't too bad. And it's not like they aren't winning the games they play now vs 2A and 3A teams. But there's absolutely nothing for them in 1A right now, especially in the east.

That lost revenue has got to come out of the construction company's pockets.
If Tarboro was 2A in the East. They will get to play the Clintons and East Duplin programs. If MT Airy was 2A in the West. They will get to play the Shelby and Reidsville programs. That would bring out excitement to the programs and the fans.. I heard MT Airy might go 2A in the next realignment?
