Wow east looks tough, so what is the conference priority ranking this year, I know they rotate yearly.

east looks very tough. The 1 seed in the east will have a dog fight in round 2 against a very underrated Washington team

I don't think West Stokes and East Davidson will be in the east, they are too far west of the line. Andrews is on the borderline and can go eather way.

Problem is there are not many 2AA size schools in the East. I had the pull E Davidson, W Stokes, and Andrews to complete the bracket. Those were the next closest Eastern teams based on longitude. I remember awhile back when South Columbus and Whiteville went West. Whiteville is like 40 miles from the coast and I think they had to go play Owen that year. Now that's a road trip!!!

I saw the championship game last year in 2aa and Washington looked like the better team. They didn't have Surratt. If they were to play West Stokes that's a road trip.

I will agree, if there not enough teams in the east, they will have to go west to fill out the brackets.

Carolina Varsity also has West Stokes and East Davidson going East as well.

It's happened before with both of them so it won't be a new thing. West went east in 2005 and 2008, they made the second round that year. If West Stokes goes east they have a chance to make it deep possibly.

East is filler for the bracket. See HPA staying East due to the low #'s.

Monroe 2A 80.526
Lexington 2A 80.490
Salisbury 2A 80.485
Mount Pleasant 2A 80.482
North Rowan 2A 80.430
Forest Hills 2A 80.411
West Stokes 2A 80.375

In case of a three way tie for first in the Eastern Plains Conference, Washington has drawn the number 1 seed, while Beddingfield has drawn the 3rd.

Champ, Monroe is slightly west of West Stokes. The larger the number the farther west (and that's in the negative), but it's hard to imagine either team being in an eastern bracket. In 2008 South Columbus was in the western bracket playing Lexington and Starmount.Columbus County is only one county away from the coast. Strange.

Lincolnton, good luck to the Wolves against the Blue Devils tonight.

Thank you, Sasha,You've always kept the Wolves in mind...Maiden is a tough place to play. The old Tom Brown Stadium had shallow sidelines and the seating was such that it put the crowd close to the action where the hits, moans and groans could be heard. The new stadium isn't like that but it's still a hard place to pick up a win.

Good luck to South Point in their last game as Cramer comes calling. I ran Stuart Cramer and South Point on MapQuest and the distance is about three miles or six minutes. Talk about a cross-town opponent.

Yeah, not hard to find either of them and they are way too close. However, I am hopeful the Raiders will beat their purple backsides a darker shade with some black and send them home crying.

At 8-2 and Conference Champs would East Duplin really drop all the way to the 7th or 8th seed?

No, I have East Duplin at 3 or 4, depending on a draw with Clinton, if 3, you would play 14, wild card draw between North Brunswick, Franklinton, and Randleman (or possibly East Davidson if they stay in the East), if 4 you play 13 (one of those same wild cards) or South Granville if East Davidson goes to the West
