Me and a guy from Lexington almost went at it in 04. He was grabbing my face mask on successive plays so I cut him a time or two. He wanted to fight after the last one and I put my hands up in defense while eyeing the ref. Ref was staring at us. I said, "you play clean and so will I. Deal?" We grazed knuckles and got back to popping play after play lol.

There was a brawl in 84 or 85 I believe.

Tville is 2-1 against OG but 1-1 against juniors and seniors. Ledford beat the sophomores and juniors but I don't count that one lol

I rarely pull for Lexington but met some grads over the years that were cool. Of course when we actually lose to them they are obnoxious.

Ledford I'll never cheer on. Remember when they didn't want no parts of being part of or called Thomasville, now they love it. Think it's cause the new blood from Forsyth that move in. Still, I'm a huge North and OG fan when both teams play them.😂

My nephews lived on Old Ball Park Rd and should have gone to Tville but the lines were BS. Not that their Ledford parents would dream of it lol. My sister is an ND grad but my brother in law is a WD grad from the Carlton Hurt days. Thy taught at Ledford and I still tease them about it even though they're both at other better places now. My nephews are Ledford grads and I am relentless but they've never had much to talk about when it comes to foozeball. Basketball on the other hand...

Anyway I hope Tville beats the breaks off Ledford and Lex always. Hoping for improvement soon but honestly Lex besting Tville is a gift nowadays since one has 550 students and the other nearly 900. Go get em Dawgs 🐺🐺🐺

I think prior to OG, Ledford didn’t always feel that they were truly a part of Davidson County, if that makes sense. A majority of the kids lived in Wallburg and were closer to going to Winston/Kville and High Point, far from Denton, Tyro or Southmont.
I went to school in Davidson County and always pull for a school from DC when they’re playing a non-DC school (of course, everyone pulls for South bc they’re typically not a threat in any sport lol).
That all being said I still keep up with the sports in DC, but I wouldn’t want my kids attending a school in DC.

We don’t all cheer for each other. I’m not pulling for Shelby. Specifically the Football team. I’m old school and that’s how it was and that’s how it is. For me. They’re seven miles from Crest. I’m not pulling for them and I don’t want them pulling for Crest.

Believe it or not. That drives competition and is part of what makes it good around here. No true Shelby fan could ever pull for Crest.

Period.

Id pull my teeth out with an olive fork and sew my mouth shut with paracord before I would pull for the infidels that is Crest football[

Heck Id even pull Rulz TOOTH with pliers, whilst he was asleep and he is my friend...
