I have seen ED play this year. They are too slow to keep up with WRH. I cant speak for Clinton. But WRH will beat them like a drum this year. We have too many skill players. Just remember 2 yrs ago yall thought yall won the superbowl when ED won on our field. Dont be mad if the score gets out of hand this year.

Unless ED has gotten some transfers that y'all know about that I haven’t heard of I don’t see how they finish anywhere higher than 4th. Yes Battle Is an amazing football coach no doubt about it but I didn’t think they had anything coming back or any athletes this year.

So correct me if I’m wrong but it looks as if it finished out like this...

1. Clinton - Conference champs. Congrats!
2. ED - The “Darkhorse” overachievers (No pun intended)
3. Wallace - Injury bug hit them hard this season
4. Goldsboro - A very athletic 4th placer.
5. Midway - The pass game wasn’t strong enough for the ECC
6. The Bye Week - Just a place holder to show how much room was between the 5th and 6th team.
7. James Kenan - Well, because someone had to be at the bottom.

I think that goes without saying. Can't ever count out anyone and I think WRH made a statement last night. Clinton would still have to be the favorite right now going undefeated in conference and looking for a #1 seed in the playoffs while Wallace and ED will have to try to be road warriors. It's playoff time so I'm rooting for all of the ECC teams that make it in.

Still football to be played but if i had to pick Conference awards today i would say

Offensive player of the year Dalrymple from WRH
Defensive player of the year- Jatiyuhn Wilson from Clinton

Coach of the year- Cory Johnson Clinton but wouldnt be surprised if Cory Barnes from Midway was voted for it with Midways turn around
