Just curious that I haven't seen anything yet about Thomasville football. I know Thomasville travels to Albemarle for the first game and just wondered how many came out for the team and what the expectations were for this coming season. Albemarle has about 35 kids out with our third new head coach in the last 3 years. I think Thomasville also will be having their third different coach in the last 3 years so it could be an interesting game.

Just read on the 2A forum that Allyson Brown 14 , daughter of West Mongomery principal Benjie Brown collapsed and died this morning practicing cross country at Southern Guilford. Please remember this family in your prayers.

Please keep the Brown family in your prayers. Allyson Brown, 14 year old daughter of Benji and granddaughter of Allen, died this morning when she collapsed while practicing cross country at Southern Guilford. If you know anything about the Browns, you know how closely knit the family is.
So tragic for some wonderful people.


I have met both of the Brown gentlemen one time. Such a tragic thing to happen to such a great family. Our prayers are with the family, community, and students who love Allyson Brown. May our Lord comfort all the lives Allyson touched. Catawba County sends their prayers.

Well it's a new year and the same ol mess on here. The board is inundated with morons from Crest trying to convince everyone how great they are. I am just trying to get a feel for the Cleveland County all star team. They caught my boys on a night were we played our worst football in many years and they had every break they could get. It WILL NOT happen again. So to all you guys from Shelby, Burns, SP, etc, fill me in on the superstars this season. How many transfers did they go out and recruit? They sure loaded that team up from local schools last season so I assume they will do the same this season. I hate I have to wait 4 more months for payback, but It will be worth it!

The book was sent to Atlanta on 7/20 and is being printed. Look for them to be in stores next week. All pre-orders will go out first.
