I figure Willis will cover their best receiver. They also play him as kick and punt returner and running back and put him at quarterback too. They have a tough line physical especially a defense line. They don't have much of a running game but good receivers. #1 is really good receiver and is the punter. They throw a lot of jump balls for the receiver he is 6'5. Line play average and they had trouble covering kick returns. West ran one back for a touchdown and another 70 yards. They played good defense red zone.
I did see the coin toss and it looked like Lawrence had a noticeable limp on his right side.I felt 1-3 but hoped for a split.
Can’t comment much on the game because I didn’t see it. Lawrence was out but not sure why. The defense played better until the end.
Congratulations to Richmond.
I felt 1-3 but hoped for a split.Butter will go 0-4 to start the season. Who saw this coming?
I think you got the right image in your head it's usually on kickoffs returns or interceptions. Basically a player is in pursuit of the ball carrier when another player comes up and blindside's him. And example last night the kid had no chance of impacting the pick 6. The bunker Hill kid impacted it more by Getting the TD nullifiedNow, see ? That's what a coach (An irate one) sounds like, but not getting into a fisticuff with students for carrying signs.
*Some people don't even know what a crackback block is, and I'm not sure I do, but I think it's blindsiding a defensive player.

And up 48-7 for a kid (#0) to eye a kid across the field and cross over to blind side crack back block is uncalled for. Y'all set the tone and put the game away no point in dirty dangerous and illegal play. It was a competitive close game I'd probably give it to you as a competitive advantage to set the tone but not 48-7

Na we just hit everyone in the mouthLet's go ahead and pile on the controversial comments 🤣 Bunker Hill is a dirty team but it is what it is.
What happened to West Rowan? They used to be really good. Doesn't make sense to see them fall off the way they have.Mooresville playing West Rowan does nothing for them - They need to play Reagan, West Forsyth , Catholic , Hough , or someone that will challenge them early n make them work harder bc West Rowan is NOT the west Rowan of oles
West isn’t a bad team but they ain’t no powerhouse anymore and nor talent as they once had
So West is a cupcake in that regard
Yeah, the whole open enrollment thing is a crock of BS. If you live in a school's district, then you go to that school. End of story unless you can make some very compelling argument. And no, because I don't want to play football at RJ Reynolds since they are not good and I want to play for a winning school like East Forsyth is not an compelling argument. Too bad. Work your butt off and get better and try to make Reynolds a winning program. And it is 2024 with social media all over the place. If you are good and talented, the college scouts will find you and recruit you. Doesn't matter if you are playing in Charlotte or in some tiny county where there is one high school with 250 students. If you are good, the colleges will find you. So the recruiting excuse doesn't work either. Carver has fallen off so much from what they used to be a lot due to open enrollment. And that is BS.It's got to be tough coaching in Forsyth at a school like north forsyth good players go elsewhere. I don't agree with open enrollment
From what I was told both ADs didn't want to do it tonight. Not sure if this morning was an option. And with hibriten having sp and huss has providence Friday I don't think tuesday was an option.I'm assuming since there was big youth event scheduled tonight that all the football teams were invited too and Monday is a holiday they agreed to cancel it.
And next week will be even worse against NE. Being a Tarboro fan is nice with all the winning and state titles. But it in a way it can't be much fun with all the running clock boring blowouts. It would be nice if they could get NE and HC off the schedule and replace them with Rose, Conley, Northeastern HS or Southern Nash. It is good to see them playing Havelock this season and that should be a helluva game. And nothing you can do about conference games. Those are locked in and even if most all of them are mind numbing blowouts, they have to be played. Of course, I also fault these teams that Tarboro humiliates for not getting better and letting their football programs just rot on the vine.Up 35-0 and haven't played our best either.
How wasn’t watching it as an actively watching it live it was just playbacks from conservative newsWatching CNN not a good admission 😂😂
nepsy, my nephew coaches over at S. Rowan. Their “opponent” backed out on them too, lost out on a home gate, concession’s, everything. This is setting a bad precedent. They advised they couldn't return because they wouldn't have access to Charter buses the next day. That's when coach suggested we would travel to them the next day. Hell, we traveled 2 1/2 hours to Anderson NC in school buses the previous weekend. Definitely should have been a forfeit, as the Creek did everything, to make the game happen.
