I figure Willis will cover their best receiver. They also play him as kick and punt returner and running back and put him at quarterback too. They have a tough line physical especially a defense line.

I did see the coin toss and it looked like Lawrence had a noticeable limp on his right side.

Who can give me some insight to randleman. They got big off lineman and big defensive lineman. Do they throw well or run well. I'm wondering how they match up against Bunker Hill and their one-man team of RB Willis. Physical team or not

Lol since I'm trolling people up today let's go with another one 🤣. How much of an embarrassment it should be for Newton-Conover players,coaches, parents and alumni. And I'm not talking about the 34-0 first QTR. Anybody's ever played sports or been a fan knows that ass whipping is always going to come at some point and that's not the reason of embarrassment. The fact that after the first quarter being delayed that the team decides to just quit and go home is a true embarrassment. That decision last night is the epitome, the guilty on all charges, and caught red handed moment. That proves and shows everyone that our opinion of Newton over the years was exactly spot on. To quote a former coach "they are who we thought the were". When times are tough and adversity comes, the quit and give up. As much as that brings a smile and warm feeling to me, this is more honesty than hate. Lol I feel like I'm on one of my old school posts from the past here, no PC just spitting the uncensored truth

I think you got the right image in your head it's usually on kickoffs returns or interceptions. Basically a player is in pursuit of the ball carrier when another player comes up and blindside's him. And example last night the kid had no chance of impacting the pick 6. The bunker Hill kid impacted it more by Getting the TD nullified

Yeah, the whole open enrollment thing is a crock of BS. If you live in a school's district, then you go to that school. End of story unless you can make some very compelling argument. And no, because I don't want to play football at RJ Reynolds since they are not good and I want to play for a winning school like East Forsyth is not an compelling argument. Too bad. Work your butt off and get better and try to make Reynolds a winning program. And it is 2024 with social media all over the place. If you are good and talented, the college scouts will find you and recruit you. Doesn't matter if you are playing in Charlotte or in some tiny county where there is one high school with 250 students. If you are good, the colleges will find you. So the recruiting excuse doesn't work either. Carver has fallen off so much from what they used to be a lot due to open enrollment. And that is BS.

From what I was told both ADs didn't want to do it tonight. Not sure if this morning was an option. And with hibriten having sp and huss has providence Friday I don't think tuesday was an option.

And next week will be even worse against NE. Being a Tarboro fan is nice with all the winning and state titles. But it in a way it can't be much fun with all the running clock boring blowouts. It would be nice if they could get NE and HC off the schedule and replace them with Rose, Conley, Northeastern HS or Southern Nash. It is good to see them playing Havelock this season and that should be a helluva game. And nothing you can do about conference games. Those are locked in and even if most all of them are mind numbing blowouts, they have to be played. Of course, I also fault these teams that Tarboro humiliates for not getting better and letting their football programs just rot on the vine.

Ac has a fine football team.. Well discipline. And great size. Qb was better then expected..
No exvuses just better, but hurts to have 3 ints and 2 fumbles.
And alot bad breaks..
Still take nothng away from Ac.
Love our Series with them..

nepsy, my nephew coaches over at S. Rowan. Their “opponent” backed out on them too, lost out on a home gate, concession’s, everything. This is setting a bad precedent.
