Catholic is always one of the most disciplined, well coached teams Crest has ever faced. All past encounters have been dogfights. Catholic running game will test the Crest front 7 and we will see the progress of our OLine since the Burns game.

I noticed South Caldwell has updated the SPARtAN to make it appear that the T is a cross....I'm not sure how they are able to get by with that. It probably won't last long.

Glenn lost a bunch a players too. I would still bet that what Chambers have on the field should have been better than what Glenn put on the field. Congrats to Glenn HC. They could easily be 3-0 and playing Parkland this week, got a chance to win another one. From what I hear, Chambers may have out coached themselves leading to a few turnovers. Keep it simple and make the other team win.

Not really. They still have more talent that most. Got a lot of new moving pieces. They’ll be okay by conference time.

#4 had a game. The skill players for SC were decent players. The defense needs a lot of work and surprised at the lack of fan support against a school that close.

I'm Disappointed, not that ED lost to a better, bigger, stronger team but because of all the Hype I've been hearing from folks close to the program since last season. I heard that ED was gonna be the Class of the 2A East for 2-3 years. I guess those meaningless predictions are still at least a year away at best.

Exactly, it’s the same run plays over and over. It’s been like this for the past couple of years. I’m not sure if it will ever change.

So based on eye witness acounts, I was not there, the clock manangement at this game was terrible, when Whiteville was behind the clock would run 15 to 20 seconds beyond when it should have been stopped, this happened multiple times, but when Whiteville took the lead the clock manager would stop the clock as it shoud have been stopped. Not saying this would make a difference in the outcome but several fans I spoke to expressed their disgust in how the clock was managed in the home teams favor.

Don’t think thomasville has had a passing game since Ej ward or Chris brooks was the quarterback. Running the same plays over and over won’t work if they want to win games.

Quite likely, I can’t believe we’re still having problems subbing people in and out of the game. We need a passing game, it would open up the run game a lot more

In fairness, yall really didn’t get to see our offense at full strength. When 15 left with his injury on his first carry it changed us on both sides of the ball. He still isn’t fully healthy but had a decent game Friday. Heritage has a good team. Quinn is a tremendous athlete and very shifty. We had him squeezed in several times and he found a way out. They are senior heavy so it’s kinda now or never for them. I would give heritage a sizable advantage on offense, and defensively they are about the same as East. A little smaller up front, but stronger. They also have the jones kid(#24) who’s the equivalent to your keener. I think Heritage will win out so it will be interesting to see what happens.
