I say this with the least amount of disrespect. East Burke was idiots for getting rid of minor. Y'all deserve what y'all get. That team had the worst discipline I've seen. Those kids played out of control, the coach should of reeled them in and got them under control. The fact that #18 started punching the coach shows they don't respect him. In fairness some other players jumped #18 and started fighting him over it. But most the team just watched.

I can’t see 4th or 5th. 4th at worst. They may take East Lincoln. It’s gonna be a tight race for 3rd. I’m sure they may bot be as good as last years team but they really didn’t do bad, just loss of moral at the last 6 or 7 min

I wouldn’t let the NL Stvlile score fool ya for anyone that wasn’t there. Greyhounds had big boys up front and faster skill set players and they was pulling back into the game up til 8 min left in the game. That sack and turnover on downs and big run by Agee kinda took the sails outta Statesville and the boys tacked on 2 more scores at that point.

North was not as athletic as Statesville but they were swarming to the ball on D and playing sound ball, no fumbles except that one that they recovered, Wingate wore em out, they just played sound ball tonight. A more well oiled machine compared to last week. I don’t foresee Statesville doing much or making a game with Hickory or making noise in playoffs but I thought they were impressive for the most part. More team speed for sure in open areas. QB had an arm on him but he chocked and team started playing don’t give a rip ball in last 4 min.

I will say that no matter who wins I think this game will benefit both teams. They both need this game although it would be nice if it was later in the year to prepare for the playoffs. Hopefully all players make it through the battle with no serious injuries.

Starmount program is headed back to the way it used to be. I'm not positive but I think the middle school team has been undefeated the past 3-4 years including beating Mt Airy 20-0 this week. Starmount JV team is very good as well. Similar to Varsity, they're big up front and surrounded by athletes and can pass.

Before tonight I thought ER was #1 in west, but the last score I've seen was 14-14 tonight. Maybe West 1A is down this year? MA doesn't seem to be as explosive as years past. I'm not sold on MH just yet... I think the next couple weeks could be interesting to see who really shows out.

I'm not sold on anyone right yet just have general knowledge of who's pretty good lol heritages conference probably won't tell you much else about them, can't really know till you know I guess playoffs will tell us more lol

Although Asheboro just lost a heartbreaker to Randleman tonight in OT, they should/could beat Montgomery Central , Ledford, possibly North Davidson, and maybe its a stretch, but they could be a long shot for a playoff berth this year . Asheboro's head coach and the head coach of Grimsley are brothers , and their grandfather was C.K. Siler, a gentleman that coached at Sumner HIgh School ( now Southern Guilford ) for decades. If anyone can get Asheboro back on the good foot, its the coach that is now there.
