Burlington Cummings

I just saw that Cummings had a player collapse and die at practice yesterday. He was a tenth grader on varsity named Malik Mebane. Another sad hit to the community after the death of the 7 year old by a stray bullet in a shooting last week. I don’t know how close the teams are related but Mason Jenkins, the 7 year old played for the Air Cavs football team.

West Charlotte vs Mallard Creek

I refuse to engage in this childish game you’re playing. I made a sincere and straightforward observation, one that came from your previous response. Yet, instead of acknowledging it and responding to it, you choose to spiral into total defensiveness, hurling accusations in every direction and pointing fingers which you enjoy. You are never wrong neither apolitical.. Let me remind you, you are not a GOD on this site; you are just another person, like the rest of us, navigating this life. That’s all I have to say to you.

Now, go ahead—share your next feeble remark adorned with emojis, chasing after those pitiful 6 likes from the same personl…….. GO!
Nobody looks at me as a God!! Nor have I projected myself in that manner. Stop with the passive aggressive BS. You’re a freaking nut job and upset because your attempt to create crazy conversations that have nothing to do with High School football is always shut down. Go play clown 🤡 and stop playing the victim.

Charlotte Catholic vs Providence

The wing T made Catholic different and difficult to prepare for as they were unpredictable. Especially when they threw the ball. It required defenses to be disciplined, shortened the game and kept the ball away from the opponent. Despite all of the recruiting allegations, while blessed with some great athletes over the years, they have usually been on the short end of the stick athletically. The wing T can minimize the effect of superior athletes. Catholic can stay in and win games it has no business being in on paper. The downside is that if they get behind, quick strike capability has not been in their DNA. Brodowicz came in with the plan to throw more. The longer he was there in his 10 years, the more he ran the ball. When they have to throw it or line up in the gun, Catholic loses its unpredictability factor. It will be interesting to see how the new coach evolves. It seems the play mix is already trending more to the run as the season progresses.

West Charlotte vs Mallard Creek

Why do you keep saying us, it’s just you. 🤷🏾‍♂️ You’re just trolling and smoking some type of crack. I know who this is now. One of the 1st idiots to have your account suspended, and here you are again. new account and creating silly narratives that no one is talking about but you. I see the therapist not working, huh? 😂

Rocky River 3A/2A - Week 6 🏈

Last week I think I ended up pretty decent. The MP vs WS score ended up being 42-0 instead of 34-0. Monroe won which I thought, however I owe Piedmont an apology I didn't think they would win, but for two years now they have shown they have MC's number. On to this week.

North Stanly (3-1) @ *Forest Hills (2-2): Don't over think this one FH, NS has two kids that can really play the Juice kid and the Alsobrooks kid. They are not well coached, they make really dumb mistakes. In the first two OT periods again WS they ended in first a goal from the 20 because of dumb penalties. Be patient and weather the early storm and you'll be fine. If you can get your defense to bring some licks the Juice kid will lay down, he does not like to be hit hard at all. Your QB play being erratic is concerning, but if either of them settle in your should manage this game well. I'd say 35-21 FH and the 21 I think is being generous.

Central (S.C.) (3-1) @ *Anson Co. (2-2) Last year Anson ran through Central 48-21. This year Central has started hotter and Anson has been good at times and mediocre at times. The loss to sun valley does not look as bad as the loss to NS. Neither of their wins are what I would call impressive. North Rowan is athletic but they has lost against anybody with decent talent this year. Anson's win again Albemarle is not what I would call a signature win. So I guess the big questions here are who is Anson and which team is going to show up? Coaching changes and someone getting their first HC opportunity will always bring some ups and down in year one usually. The Bearcats are dangerous usually in the skill spots. I think its a close game. Both offenses are with 1 point of the same point totals all year while Central's defense has been better giving up 22 fewer points. I consider this game about even. 28-24 Central.

*Parkwood (1-3) @ Eastern Randolph (4-0): Sorry Parkwood, even though ER is a 1A school I still don't think you've got the chops to beat them. Notoriously very physical teams that really play with a little bit of a nasty edge. Now ER hasn't really playing anybody but they have played all bigger schools 2A sizes up from them. I think Parkwood is a little better than last year but I still don't think they can win this one. Parkwood's defense is giving up 34 points a game while ER is scoring right a 28 a game vs. ER defense giving up 10.5 a game to Parkwood scoring 16. The game may be closer than expected but I still think ER wins, 35-13.
*Monroe (4-0) Bye Week
*Piedmont (2-3) Bye Week
*West Stanly (0-5) Bye Week

Havelock @ Valhalla (Tarboro)

Pretty confident they will. Tarboro will definitely be there barring injuries galore... With eastern Randolph barely winning Friday and SMC being less than usual I say the only 2 teams with a shot to beat Mt airy is robbinsville and mountain heritage but I doubt it.

I believe ER turned the ball over multiple times last week, so they should be better than the score. However, you can't turn the ball over when playing a good team and expect to win, so they will have to correct that. Right now, I'm not sold on MA coming out of the west. I think we'll know more after the Starmount game. If they beat Starmount handily, I would put them as the favorite. If it's a close game, I think any of the 3 (MA, ER, MH) could make it out. Obviously, it would depend on how playoff brackets line up but there is still a lot of football to be played.

To get the post back on track, I think Havelock pulls away late. Havelock 14+.

MA @ STARMOUNT - Sat at 7

I believe if North Iredell would have played Starmount. It would have been a competive game for Starmount.

I don't think it would have been close. North Iredell is a 1 trick pony. Yes it was a close game last year but this year Starmount seems to be a different animal. North is still just North. Starmount would have gotten a boost in RPI though with North playing North Lincoln, Statesville, Hickory, and East Lincoln. AC and South going .500 likely would have helped too.

South Columbus @ Pender

The likeness is you played East Bladen, we played East Bladen, you can’t judge entirely on scores from two different teams but had we not had the penalties and turnovers our score would’ve been as bad if not worse than y’all’s when yall played East Bladen, so assuming there is any correlation to football math at all then saying we are gonna lose 42-6 must mean you’d be willing to say you’d be willing to spot them 20 on y’all, which I don’t think you’d do. All hypotheticals, just don’t think the spread will be that wide. Not saying we will win but we usually play Pender good even when we are outmatched with the exception of last year. If we play like we are capable of playing I’ll take a 10 point spread either way. Who knows, wouldn’t be the first time I was wrong.
This is hilarious. You are talking about penalties like other football teams cant get them. We had 2 TDs called back in that game and other drive ending penalties. And like tiger0713 said, we were messing around running random stuff all game getting ready for ED I assume. It didn't look like there was any rhyme or reason to me. we could have dropped 60 if we wanted to. And I'm not trying to be disrespectful I just don't like how you're comparing scores like its the end all be all. The fact of the matter is that y'all kicked a last second FG to beat EB late in the 4th and we had our backups in late in the 4th vs EB. And yes we had about 250 penalty yards in the game.

With all that being said, I think this will be a close game and will come down to the fourth quarter. Im taking Pender 35-29
