Lake Norman vs Mt Tabor Boys

Lake Norman traveled to Mt Tabor and was quickly down 9-0. Lake Norman went to play basketball and found out quickly they were in a football game.
Then they were down by 9 and halftime. 3 officials were present. 2 called a pretty decent game. 1, well, less just say he was something on the other side of horrible. At times a touch was a foul, at other times a mugging was ok, we will wipe up the blood.

Upon returning from the half, Lake Norman did what Lake Norman does. The Tide came rolling in. It was fast, it was quick, it was dunk city with a mixture of 3's. LN goes from 9 down to winning by 16.

Mt Tabor is good, make no mistake about that. They play hard, they extremely well coached. They are talented and will get after you. But Lake Norman is on a little higher level.

That game was the first Id seen him at LB. A good DE would also make plenty of plays between the tackles just by squeezing down and reading the blocks in front of him. I wish I knew how many broken tackles that RB had

On the film they ran in the middle of the defense most times. Isn't he DE, when did they move him to LB?

Run defense could have been affected by his effort or lack of on that side. ER pass defense possibly affected by the same.

EW loves to put together long drives. Against NR coming out from halftime EW used over 7 minutes of game clock on a td drive.

They will be a run first team that is perfectly happy taking half a quarter to score. But they do have potential to strike quickly. I would not suggest kicking to 24 in any situation. He has more than 1 return for a td this year. As has been mentioned you will not be impressed looking at the green team in warm ups. They are not very big in stature. But they are very fundamental in there approach to every aspect of the game. If I see one major weakness it is their kicking game.
Even though I have very very limited knowledge of EW sounds like both teams are similar in a lot of ways. If I could get off work in time I wouldn’t mind seeing this one. But alas I am not going to go to that hole and set next to that river as cold as it will be Friday. .

-The real benefit to me is WC playing 3A/4A conference and then playing in 3A playoffs. The level of their comp is just simply better week to week. The Cleveland County schools typically do well because of this. They are battle tested.

IMHO Dudley is the best team in the state regardless of classification. Also think Hickory is top 5 in the state. Robinson is gonna get killed Friday night.

dudley is not the best team in the state you are tripping lol maybe in 3a and i think dudely is great but u thinking their better than hough 71st grimsley clevland weddington hickory without even seeing them play them teams is crazy i think even havelock and jacksonville could give them issues

Cold weather is definitely gonna be a factor in this Friday's games. I'm sure that turnovers will be a factor with it
