CVAC 2024 - Week 5 🏈🏈🏈

Question is, is Lincolnton ready to get their first win Friday night ?? Are all the kids locked in and committed to winning ??
Every time we play Bunker Hill and lose you come on here and bless me out, and take that little blue trident (Pitchfork like the devil carries if you're from W. Lincoln), and poke and prod and gouge and irritate me mightily with it... If we should pull it off, got a feeling you'd still want to poke, prod and gouge. Actually, I don't believe it irritates you that Bunker Hill beats us and it effect you numbers on the leaderboard when you pick us, it's just that you hate them more than you do us.

No one knows what lies ahead especially with teenagers. I do appreciate your presentation of the records of both teams’ opponents past and future.
Not that it really matters as far as RPI but I wish there was a component in the formula for classification of opponents.
ER has been imo MA toughest opponent in the west last two years and I expect the same this year if we both get there. I expect Starmount to be a tough opponent also

Hey Kidd since this thread is already off topic - I was going to tell you I did some work in Randolph/Moore county earlier this year, and I can confirm it’s not the “flatlands” up there.

Also, somebody needs to open some places to eat around there.

I had to look it up the quote. Anyways, my favorite episode has come to be the Stranger in Town. Lots of people I have encountered now know about the area. I have always talked it up.
That was something of a sad episode about a young man wanting to fit in, even though he used a clumsy approach there was kind of a moral to the story that could even be related to the Bible (Matthew 25:35).

LHSfaninVA, kind of reminds me of you. You're a guy from a very blue collar town and you end up in northern Virginia, and unlike Mayberry, this area has some of the wealthiest counties not only in that state but in the country. Always wondered about that location, whether they're generally accepting of others or maybe, even, if most of them are strangers, themselves, having moved there from other places.

MA's past opponents are 9-7 and ER's are 4-6.
MA's opponents left have a record of 10-13, ER's opponents left are 12-15.

After glancing at some of ER's opponents, opponents and MA opponents, opponents, I would think that ER's OOWP will also top MA's eventually. Now, all this also depends on ER winning out (and MA winning out). Which the only game that should be of challenge to ER would be the last one against that Orange/Blue team. I'm not saying that it will happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if ER was the #1 seed. Still a lot of football left though.

KENDRE HARRISON RETURNS TO REIDSVILLE

Approval for what? To attend school? To participate in extracurriculars? If he lives in the district and meets the eligibility requirements what is there to discuss? Is there a rule in place that has some coverage of this type of situation?

Was at a meeting in Charlotte Meck January 2008 and the future superintendent of Guilford County Schools (then assistant at CMS and a Duke law school graduate) stated about a similar scenario, "if we do that we will be sued and we will lose."
Probably just want to make sure all the i's are dotted, t's crossed kind of thing
