Wilson Prep had 500 yards rushing when they played Warren county. I think the Vikings take this one. Wouldn't surprise me if Warren county keeps it somewhat close early though.
CCHS by 10.Big one coming up in the 3rd rd. Any thoughts with this game.
Hear a rumor that parking is tight anyone no how true that is…Question is how many fans will Hickory stadium hold. Everybody and their brother will be wanting to see this game. Day after Thanksgiving makes this one special. Should be a good one.
1980 me and a buddy in Texas locked up for fighting. We sang “We’re in the jailhouse now” and “Everywhich way but loose” among others that had the sheriff furious. Nobody could get any sleep! He came to the cell and threatened us. I asked him what was he going to do lock us up?? As he walked off shaking his head Randy asked him would he fix him a sandwich. The man turned and asked did we think we were some holiday motel. He was having none of it.The jailer was scared he was going to get fired I think. He couldn’t look at us without laughing.I heard @Otis4411 likes to hang out in the drunk tank from time to time.
It happens almost weekly I see former Shelby greats/fans at Crest games..often with Shelby gear on ,because yall playing TJ are somebody that night😂If a single Shelby fan shows up he/she would have more teeth then the rest of the visitors added together has....
Well good luck then! I’ll read about whatever you guys post among yourselves, if y’all promise to do the same on the ER/Corvian thread.Yea. I’m guessing so lol. You know THS & ER always overlooked by the “superior” 1A teams…

Yea. I’m guessing so lol. You know THS & ER always overlooked by the “superior” 1A teams…Yall got a game this week?
Yep I checked on NCHSAA and y’all do.
Couple other teams too in 1A are playing as well looks like…
I got to quit just reading 1A forum huh?
Thinking back now , No Shelby fans will be out of county , they would need permission to travel out of countyIf a single Shelby fan shows up he/she would have more teeth then the rest of the visitors added together has....
Richmond fans have an apparent contradiction in their behavior. It’s interesting to see how Richmond supporters can sometimes prioritize their loyalty to the team over the moral high ground they claim to uphold. When the coach was hired, many fans rallied around the idea of integrity and sportsmanship, often citing the importance of building a program based on ethical standards. However, as the season progressed and Richmond lost their first game to 71st, some fans instantly resorted to harsh criticism and even personal attacks on the coach and players, which seems to undermine the very principles they initially advocated. Also criticizing the formation coach is running. This kind of behavior raises questions about the authenticity of Richmond s convictions. What some of you have posted on here has contradicted the support they profess for the team. It's almost as if the pressure of disappointing results can lead to a selective memory regarding their moral stance. It's what we call being human!
They won't run like that against Mt airyNot a lot due to some factors. MA has a good defense and our QB wasn’t 100% for that game.
Rams have made some big adjustments in their running attack.

Then act like itYour second sentence says "Richmond fans barely knew him". You do realize he is a former QB for Richmond 97 and 98 State champion?? Former assistant coach. You might want to research also I don't know anyone that was upset about hiring him just the opposite.
If a single Shelby fan shows up he/she would have more teeth then the rest of the visitors added together has....There will be more Shelby football “fans” at Crest/Hickory game than at the Shelby home playoff game
It's what we call being human! The season started out blaming Richmond coach for his arrival and the game plan. Richmond's fan barely knew him and the blame begun. The fans begun with statements that Richmond would never make it this year because of the hired coach and the formation he planned to run.
It seems that the narrative around coaches often swings dramatically based on immediate results. Initially, it’s easy for fans to criticize a coach without fully understanding the complexities of their role, including the challenges of team dynamics, injuries, and the pressure of high expectations. When the team begins to win, as Richmond has, the atmosphere shifts. Fans rally behind the coach, celebrating the victories and attributing the success to their leadership. The moment the results waver, the same fans who once praised him can quickly turn to doubt and criticism. It's interesting to consider the psychology behind this. Fans are often emotionally invested in their teams, and the highs and lows of a season can lead to extreme reactions.
The pressure in playoff situations can be immense, and once a team hits a rough patch, all the praise can quickly shift to blame. It’s almost as if the narrative shifts entirely based on one or two games, Richmond fans quickly begin overlooking the hard work and strategic planning that went into the entire Richmond coaching staff season. As Richmond fans or any fan base, it’s essential to recognize that coaching is a multifaceted job that requires consistent effort and adaptability, especially under pressure.
Cavaliers are on a hot streak right now. Can't imagine them giving up 56 points in a game after watching them against Reidsville. Note that two of Reidsville's TDs were scored by the defense. That North Lincoln loss(I think it was OT) stands out. NL is one of the top rushing teams in the region.
Crest is use to that , being game of the year for teamsThis should be the game of the year, so far, for Hickory!
