Your comebacks have become increasingly weak like the program you support. I guess this is why you immediately jump to name calling and bashing. You have no football related thing to say back.

We are still on top like we have been for the past 60, 70, years and will be for the next 60, 70.
So are you saying MC plays like a defeated and disorganized program now as opposed to previous seasons?

4 players projected to be drafted 2023: Grant Gibson, Ryan Jones, Trent Simpson & Eric Douglas

Just a few players from our weak program (Mallard Creek) currently on college & professional rosters. School opened in 2007 with over 150 college graduates from the Football program. Google the players listed, they're all active. I left out about 30. You'll never ever, be able to accomplish that level of collegiate success for the next 60 to 70 years. You guys remind me of Slave owners on Django. Brag about your guys, than give them a BEER = 2a Trophy afterwards. How about get your Asses off of NCPREPS and help those kids with some Academics, so you can up the number of kids playing on Saturday. Your percentage of kids going to college is horrific, for the Alleged True Dynasty. If we're weak, every school in the State is screwed.

OUCH! :) Is this football related enough for you? :) YES! You're still Trash & Imbecile's, All 4 of you!

That's cute.... any of them make this list?

Because little 2A Shelby has #2 and #5.

Also look where #3 is from.... but didn't play for Shelby High.... but could have.

Give us MC student numbers...3 times larger...and we have 4 more on this list.

How many did you have?

Now you're 2A? GTFOH! Now it's a numbers thing. Making up excuses for very poor grades. OWN IT, like you own your State Championships. What a Piece of Shiggady you are. You're so stupid, you don't realize you're contradicting your entire argument. Hilarious! Shelby has the most talented kids in the State but a lot of them don't go to college because they're 2A. Damn! You're a walking Moron! :) All 4 of the guys i listed willed get drafted before your VTech guy. Stop embarrassing yourself. You're pathetic!

No...been 2A since '97.

Do you know what contradict means?

And never said Shelby has the most talented kids in the State every year. You are the king of putting words in people's mouths.

So since you ignored the question I'm guessing your answer is zero? That's what I was thinking.

Who is this nepsy guy?
He is out of control.

The most accomplished football player to ever come out of North Carolina played his high school ball in Shelby.
Call us back when you have someone to match that.

Who are you? What are you doing outside of hanging out on NCPREPS and being an Idiot, to help those players with ACADEMICS? Stop running and diverting the question.

Hey, this is great !
btango shows up
Then LostOurMagic raider guy. Where will you go when y’all drop to 3A ? If you win any titles then, will you count them ?

Simpson is a projected Top-10 pick. Hollifield went to Blacksburg and wound-up on a milk carton.
The funny thing about this is Creek's top prospect in the '18 class with Dax was drafted 13th overall last year lol. Simpson is couple years behind. And they had another P5 commit on that defense that @nepsy7 left off his list earlier if I'm not mistaken. There were some dudes in that front seven right at the end of their run.

We have beaten the unified 4A Champions in 3 of the 5 years surrounding their titles.
Once was as 2A, on their field. When they were nationally ranked.
We have nothing left to prove.
See below.

Well, we’ve been waiting on this.
The perfect teaching moment.

We will stretch a little, but not really.
The point will be made.
The point we have made for decades.

Chambers played “up” this week. They lost.
Hough played “up” last week. They lost.
Mallard Creek played “up” this week. Lost.
Weddington played “up” this week. Lost.
Dudley played “up” this week. They lost.
Shelby played “up” this week. They lost.
Reidsville played “up” this week. They lost.

The top teams in the State, across classifications, played “up” this week (or last), and they all lost.
But every losing coach will tell you, it will make them better….for the season.
The loss will expose the weaknesses, with time to correct or adjust to them.

“So what?”, you ask. Most understand that, correct?
No, they don’t.
We have had the biggest arguments and most aggressive abuse trying to make this point, primarily to the 4A crowd, but also to 3A and 2A folks as well. Play “up”, it will make you better. “But 4A can’t play “up” “, they said.
They just did. And lost.
Powerful Indy, at their finest, played “up” in Ohio. And lost.

Some thought, play it safe, schedule cupcakes for non conference, go undefeated, and you will get the highest seeds, and now, perhaps a bye.
Some still think that way.
It is past time for strength of schedule to be considered in year end seeding.
We will not hold our breath.
But finally, many are starting to see the great value there is in scheduling non conference play against a team that may be better than you.

Want more proof?

There is a high school football program in NC that has been playing “up” forever.
Many years, 40% of their schedule has been against teams from higher classes. Some years, it was over 50%. Many years, including this year,
scheduled teams 2 classes “up”.
That program has won more games and more State Titles in the last 60 years than any other.
They have won 92% of games within their class.
The closest other program of any class is at 80%.
But in only 3 of those seasons were they undefeated.

Now you know why.
So when Burns kicks that Azz after all the JV games shall I get your room ready at Broughton ?

Maybe we drop to 2A and whip your butt.
You know what?
I bet if y’all did defeat The True Dynasty in a game, you would go back and make a big sign about it and hang it on the bleachers with your other big signs.
You could put it over the “ #1 winning percentage for the last 50 years “ sign , an accomplishment that we have taken from you recently.

It’s not Roman Gabriel, Sonny Jurgensen, Alge Crumpler or Clyde Simmons. Those 4 are NHHS Wildcats!! Jurgensen is in the hall of fame.

Or leave it out there for btango. He can’t help himself.
Then he will make something up to discredit it.
Keep the hyperbole brewing. I had to make a correction a few posts back for ya, or whichever one of you it was.

btango, are you talking about the Golden Lions, or are you talking about you?
Our claims about Shelby football are historical and factual. No exaggeration necessary. And we mean them as extremely literal.
As far as you are concerned, until you deliver your credentials as historical and factual, we have no reason to take you literally, seriously, or any other way than the exaggerated, biased know-it -all that you display in your “corrections”.
Others on preps may swallow your “contributions “ as accurate and helpful.
We see you as desperate for a home….and no one will take you.
Please. Give us some reasons to qualify you.
Is that so hard for you to do?
    Are you hiding something?

How about we ask you this way?
If you wrote a book (which maybe you have or know you would love to), on the inside back cover jacket, how would your bio read?
Nothing private or personal.
Just why one would bother to read your work. We can’t make it any safer than that.

Why even ask why:(? Let's talk about Shelby and MC some more. The 2nd to None vs. Nepsy Historical Battle has been entertaining me. 2nd to None continues to focus on "what have you done recently for me". In contrast, Nepsy gives the number of MC students who have been sent to college. In conclusion, Nepsy is focused in the classroom, whereas 2nd to None is focused on the field and trophy cabinet. Please stay if you are merely tuning in for any reason. Nepsy will return following his short sabbatical.

Well, time again to set the record straight.
Funny how you guys come to completely erroneous positions on us, or even make stuff up just to then rag on us for something never said or implied.
We have never said or implied that you could dump 2A Shelby into NC 4A and we would walk away with the same 19 Titles we have won over the last 50 so years. Wouldn’t happen. Satisfied?
What we do claim is that Shelby is the most successful, sustained, winningest PROGRAM in NC high school history, accurate over all PROGRAMS in all classifications.
That is historically and factually undeniable.
Not opinion.
Roughly half the Titles and most of the wins were at the 3A level. The rest were as 2A since 1997. Did you know that?
Someone could come up with the most successful PROGRAM in NC 4A, as one surely exists. We would suggest that is Richmond County. But their stats are dwarfed by Shelby’s.
And they have only one Title and appearance in the last 23 years
Same with Robbinsville in 1A. Great program.
But can’t touch Shelby.

Now listen closely.

We have no misconceptions that most Championship RIchmond County teams would defeat most Championship Shelby teams. Maybe all of them. More on that later.
But that has absolutely nothing to do with accurately describing the Shelby PROGRAM as statistically ahead of the RC PROGRAM in accomplishments.
Why do you think Classifications exist?
Go to war with 2400 soldiers versus an army of 800.
Does that really need explaining? If so, you are a fool and you are on here posting nonsense, and you know it.
When challenged as to whether Shelby has EVER competed or won against the best in 4A, we give 3 examples. One is distant past, one is 25 years ago, and one is recent.

1960 - Shelby, in the 9th game of the season, defeated Gaffney,SC, who went on to win the SC 4A title that year. Gaffney has won more titles than any other PROGRAM in SC history.

1993-1997 - Shelby defeated 4A Crest in 93,95, and 97, while the Crest PROGRAM won the unified 4A State titleS in 94 and 96 after close wins over the Golden Lions. Shelby was State Runnerup in 97 and won it all in 98. Same year RC won 4A.
Hmmm…

2021 - Just last year, Shelby trailed 4A Rock Hill South Pointe by only 7 points and the ball late in the 4th quarter but was defeated 51-37 with a late garbage time TD after a late 4 th down attempt in the SP red zone.
South Pointe won the 4A SC Title in 2021.
South Pointe beat Mallard Creek last week.
Hmmm again …..

The Golden Lions have nothing left to prove.
And we accept some of you will hate us cause you ain’t us.
We just need to IMprove with this season’s team and see how far we can go. We have been here before
Find a hobby

Do some homework, man.
We will give you a hint.
He was the long snapper on every team he ever played for.
From high school, through college, and even to the NFL Hall of Fame.
So, we were right. Bobby Bell. Not sure how you draw comparisons across different eras like that, but respect your opinion. Was just curious.

Long snapper? You can't be serious lol. This is a new level of wildness with Shelbyville. The long snapper is best ever 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's because he played back in the 60s and 70s. He could play just about any position. Obviously wouldn't be the same today.
