Seems like it was a real thriller; West had the lead until late when East scored. Gonna be a fun rivalry the next few years between these two.

North Surry 46, Elkin 6
A solid team win for us tonight, super fun to watch even if it took forever to get done. Wasn't sure how we'd handle consistency on the whole or how Elkin would be as they played West Wilkes pretty good last week, but we came out from the start and nearly ran the kickoff back and it never got better for the Elks. Their best lineman went down for the game and they couldn't do anything after that besides one play they scored on us. Which was a bummer we was that close from 0 on defense. They have a good little QB and RB.
Entire 2nd half minus the first couple of minutes we had all the bench in and they all played very hard. That was the fun part of the ball game for me honestly. Elkin had a couple of drives on us but we stopped them and did enough to make the clock run out. Never seen our bench play that well and together; it was truly awesome. Excited to see how the conference play goes.
We got 4 teams in a row that has either been great or good the past few years. We will have to fight and fight hard the next few weeks. Excited to see how it goes after the bye week.

Looks like Walkertown's back to the pre McKoy days of being rough, guess the talent's left. They lost by the same margin to Lexington.
Starmount's squad is pretty good. Look forward to seeing them vs MA on JV.

MA #22 RB was out. Moved up best RB #4 few weeks ago and Freshman #71 moved up to V. Still enough studs to get it done. EW never scores if MA doesn't throw the pick at own 10
